Desiree's Lone Wolves - New Book Trailer!

Ten years ago, Carson and Sam Quarry’s father died in a freak accident. Carson doesn’t believe it was any accident and makes it no secret that he believes their pack alpha, Remy Bastien, killed their father.

When Carson commits the most heinous offense a shifter can commit against another shifter, it gives Remy just the opening he needs to get Carson and Sam’s mother right where he’s always wanted her—mated to him.

The family makes it their business to keep a low profile at The Double R. This is an easy enough task before Desiree Jensen, a conservative city slicker with painful secrets of her own, lands at the ranch, too.

Despite her quiet and sheltered existence, Desiree is a lot stronger than she seems. Is she strong enough, however, to survive the fatal charms of two wolf shifters from her wildest dreams, especially when one is marked for death?

SURFER BRIDE by Jillian Chantal

SURFER BRIDE is now available for pre-order- February 22, 2011 is release day! It's a mainstream romance with a sensual heat level. It's also catagorized as a romantic suspense. It can be pre-ordered here: http://www.bookstrand.com/surfer-bride

I'm Jillian Chantal and I write what I like to call Romantic Adventures with an International Flair. I live near the beach in Florida and have a son that's a surfer. He's pretty laid back when he surfs. Other than that, he's pretty tightly wound. We're all skiers and we have always had a boat. I'm convinced the ocean relaxes people. It does it for me. Even just a stroll on the beach can help when I'm wound up. Because of our love for the water, I wanted for some time to write a story about a surfer. I finally did and the result is Surfer Bride. The story takes place in Miami, Bali and London.

This story starts two years after the breakup of Quincy Holt and her lover, Fennimore Smith. He dumped her when he thought she was cheating on him with another surfer on the pro circuit. She nursed a broken heart for a while but finally moved on with a British man she believes is an antiques dealer. She's very wrong about her fiance's career. Her former lover, now an agent with the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, has come back into her life to tell her he's investigating her fiance and she shouldn't marry him. Quincy travels to Bali for a competition where she ends up in jail for firearms smuggling. Fennimore races to the rescue. Will she let him back in her life? And what about her fiance?

5 Cherries for Buckskins and Brocade

Hi, everyone! I wanted to share my first review for Buckskins and Brocade with you. The book received 5 Cherries from Whipped Cream Reviews.

Buckskins And Brocade by Amber Carlton
Publisher: Siren-Bookstrand, Inc.
Genre: Historical
Length: Full (266 pgs)
Other: M/F, M/F/M, Ménage, Voyeurism
Rating: 5 Cherries
Review by Lilac

In this fantastic sequel to Kentucky Woman, a young woman discovers a passionate relationship with the twin bodyguards assigned to protect her.Having been raised in an unconventional, but protective family with two fathers and one mother, Olivia Raines is determined to prove herself and becomes a spy for the First Lady.
Assigned to investigate the disappearance of some boys from the Orphan Train by going undercover as a schoolmarm, Livvie is not prepared for what's to come. She is definitely not prepared for the handsome twins assigned to protect her, Connor and Desmond McBride, but she cannot deny her attraction to the men and soon she doesn't have to.
This was such a wonderful and absorbing story that I didn't want to put down. I especially loved the characters of the story. Livvie really surprised me as despite her confidence and background, there is a naivety and innocence about her. At times she displays a vulnerability which really is quite touching. However, she is a little spitfire and is constantly surprising the brothers with her honesty and daring. I found myself just as taken with Livvie's infectious personality and couldn't help by smile at the things she says and does.
As for the brothers, they made great heroes and were perfect for Livvie. Haunted by a horrific past, Connor and Des have their own reasons for getting involved with the mission to save the boys from the Orphan Train. Life definitely hasn't been easy for the brothers, but with Livvie both of them begin to feel a bit of peace and happiness. However, they didn't grow up in a family like Livvie's and feelings of jealousy crop up as they fear that Livvie could never love them both, something I could understand and which really added to the realness of the story and the relationship.
However, Livvie is just what the brothers needed and I really enjoyed watching their relationship progress. As for the missing orphans plot, I thought it was quite interesting and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next with the investigation. Each new character and revelation added to the story and kept my interest. I really enjoyed how things played out, however, I did feel that the ending was a bit too quick for my tastes. I would have loved to learn and to have seen a bit more regarding the bad guys at the end. I also would have enjoyed another glimpse at Cutter, Billy, and Jessie (Livvie's parents and the characters from Kentucky Woman).
Despite this, I loved this story a great deal. With fabulous characters and a fascinating plot, this is one I was glad to have read.

The whole review is here:

Thanks for reading!

Time to Take Another Look

Hey everyone, It's Dee Dawning. It's been six months since my initial BookStrand novel, Love and Seduction in Las Vegas was released. Though the reviews have been glowing the sales have been disappointing, so maybe it's time to take another look. Starting today, I'm going to begin promoting this very moving, extremely sexy, feel good story anew. To start with here's a wonderful book trailer, which yours truly created. Check it out, I hope you like it . And check out the book too. If you do, I'm sure you think like I do, it's a bell ringer.
