The Cherub fast-sails our cloud above a forest of conifers and trees with bare-limbed winter branches, before I can continue thinking about the territorial space wars.
Moon Dream!
My Wolfess Spirit Guide appears, leaping from the snowy ground onto our cloud. She tongue-kisses my cheek, then companionably stands beside me as I loop my arm around her.
“In my authorly life I wrote about you,” I tell her. “On Lindsay Townsend’s THE PINK BLOG.”
‘Yes,’ she answers. I have wolf words to for those who wish to listen.
“First, let me introduce you again,” I say.
Angelic Forecast ~ XIX
Wanting to see if the full moon of January 11, 2009, the first one of the New Year, can be seen I glance out my west-facing window. Yep, only as a hazy brilliant white disc almost directly overhead. Earlier an overcast sky had hidden Luna’s face, or the Wolf Moon as this face of the moon is called.
“I read your blog about the significance of the Wolf Moon, and the destiny she offers.”The Heavenly One has appeared. And he’s not alone. A magnificent silvery coated wolf stands next to him, her jet black eyes scrutinizing me.
“Beautiful,” I murmur, aching to touch her, pet her. “What did you think of my interpretation?” I ask.
“You missed one important facet or one bright opportunity the Wolf Moon brings to everyone in this year of 2009.”
“Hi,” I croon to the wolf, leaning over a bit. “What did I miss, O Cherub One?”
“Moon Dream has asked to tell you.”
“Moon Dream, what a perfect name.” I crouch down. “What do you want to tell me?” I ask her. Suddenly, I see the full moon in her eyes. She approaches slowly, her gaze and her furred beauty bewitching me.
Sitting before me, she lifts her paw. I lightly grasp, then let her paw settle in my palm.
We wolves, the Wolf Spirit, wish to assist humanity at this time. We will guide you in the ways of wisdom you have forgotten over your many generations. We will howl a path for you. We will watch over you and protect you. We wish to share the future with you, as companions, as both spirit companions and as your brothers and sisters.
Tears flood my eyes. I can’t help it. “I wish it so,” I say. “I wish it so.”
Moon Dream stands, then touches my cheek with a nose kiss. I remain with you. I am one of your guides now. Think my name and I will answer.
I nod. Volcano’s infinite purple eyes meet my gaze. He nods. Then they are gone. Yet not gone.
~~~
“What would you tell us, Moon Dream?” I ask.
More and more, we wolves of many realms and kinds, are emerging forth to the awareness of humanity, in your dreams, in your written stories, in the entertainments you watch and enjoy.
We wolves are walking forth into what you often label REALITY, or the world you know as real.
Our minds are more open to communicating with you than has been. Listen for us. We will speak with you. We will speak to you. Whenever you notice an image of us, or anything ‘wolf’, know we are with you always. And listen for a message that will assist you in your life.
For now, we offer you our power to create the world as you have it to be for ALL of us. Our wolf spirit power joined with your individual spirit power.
Howls, Moon Dream
For this week check out the details that make up your life, the details that you might normally take for granted, or the details that simply have become so much background... as water is to the fish swimming in it. This is a time for scrutinizing what ‘details’ continue to serve you in your life, and which ‘details’ no longer serve your life, or no longer serve the future you desire.
It could be as simple as taking a close look at your routines and asking the question ~ is this way of doing things helping me or harming me?
Or, it may be noticing a detail that could make a big difference in helping you to avoid a troublesome situation.
On the world stage it’s ‘Quakesville’. No, not just the massive earthquake in Chile, or the major earthquakes that are still to come this year. The whole issue of money, and the economy is a Quakesville. It is advisable *NOT* to trust what those in charge are saying is the truth. It is advisable to prepare for a time where access to your funds could be limited.
Also, there is a golden stream of Good. Tap in and inspiration will be yours and you will know the best ways to increase your personal prosperity.
5 STAR REVIEW for LOVE LESSONS WITH THE TEXAS BILLIONAIRE
Author, Jan Bowles has officially won me over as a fan. I didn’t think she could top her first novel The Return but with her latest one she has done just that. Jack had the Texas charm that you couldn’t help but fall for, even when he was smirking. Eva is a spitfire. She really tested Jack’s patience. No matter how much she pushed his buttons, he was gentle with her; exactly why I liked him. This story is a feel good book. Be warned as this story may have you laughing and crying. Love Lessons with the Texas Billionaire is a must read! You better pick up a copy of this book soon before it flies off the shelves -- Cheryl, ManicreadersYou can read the rest of the review HERE
Wednesday's Words for February 24, 2010
We finally got our first real “dumping” of snow this year, and I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but it is all Mr. Ashbury’s fault.
I was driving him to work Monday morning. Looking out at the passing fields my beloved said, “This is pretty good, isn’t it? Practically the last week of February and no snow. I think winter’s over.”
“They’re calling for snow today,” said I. “Five inches at least.”
That was when he uttered those words: “Nah, never happen. I really think we’re done with winter.”
He’s older than I am by a couple years. If I know enough to never say never, you would think he’d know enough not to as well.
But alas, he said those words and sealed our fate. The drive Monday afternoon to go get him from work was the first really difficult drive of this winter. But am I going to complain? Not likely. Complaining falls under the same heading as “never say never”. And truthfully, it wasn’t as bad as I’ve seen it in years past. The round trip that usually takes me an hour and fifteen minutes took just a half hour more. I had purchased a complete set of brand-new snow tires in November—four of them—and this was the first winter I’d done so. Now that I have experienced the difference they make, I won’t willingly be without them again.
So many people have had such a horrible winter this year. Snow has fallen in record amounts in places that don’t usually see more than a light dusting, if that. It seems wrong somehow that we’ve escaped with so little snow, though we have had some pretty cold days. Personally, I really don’t know how anyone can look at the weather patterns over the last few years and not know that something has changed.
The recent snow fall notwithstanding, there have been signs of spring in the last week or two, and as you can imagine I cherish each of them. There’s a bird that sings in the spring time—I have no idea what he may look like, or even his species. I only know what he sounds like. As I was snuggling back in bed one day last week after returning from my morning commute, he serenaded me as I drifted off to sleep. What a wonderful gift that was!
Near the end of February the sky changes from that totally washed out blue to one of a deeper hue, and I noticed this just this past Saturday. And a few mornings ago, the air smelled so fresh and clean, I stopped to inhale deeply and felt instantly rejuvenated. It felt like spring was just around the corner.
It may seem I’m wishing my days away. I’m not, really. Time is precious, and no one knows that more than I do. And generally, I consciously take time every day to smell the roses and the coffee. It’s not the time I want to hurry on, it’s just the cold weather.
Part of my enmity with winter has to do with the lack of sunshine. I suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder. Too many cloudy days tend to drag me down, and while I know there are special lights I can buy to help to fight this condition, I seem unable to get around to getting them. Combating the winter blues becomes a major part of my day. I have to make a conscious effort to look forward, to plan things that are fun and cheering. And I have to remember to pamper myself once in a while.
In the mean time, the weather report I heard on the car radio this morning was not encouraging. The eastern seaboard of the United States may be in for another very serious winter storm, and we’re schedule for another five to ten inches here, too, over the next few days.
I turned to look at Mr. Ashbury as that radio weather report finished and reminded him of one very important fact: the snow shovel is on the front porch.
I don’t do sidewalks or porch steps or dig out the car. And that’s one ‘never’ he can take to the bank.
Love,
Morgan
Angelic Forecast ~ #77
“Those who control the Moon. A message?” I ask. Snowflakes flutter down suddenly. Their cold wetness feels like kisses on my face.
“There’s a territorial war actually, many of them occuring around Earth. Space wars for lack of a better description.” The Heavenly One waves his arm and we shoot upwards. “Those who currently have control of the moon have sent a warning to what some on Earth call the secret space program.”
“You mean like ‘Dark Mission’, Richard Hoagland’s book talks about?”
“Yes, and bigger than what is revealed by the incomparable Mr. Hoagland.” The Cherub gives me one of his patented grins.
“Are you talking about the hidden base or bases down in Antarctica?”
“That is the major base of operations. Along with Agentina.”
I shiver and not from the soft slash of snow on my face and body. “It’s bad, isn’t it? And it’s only going to get worse.”
“Yes.”
“When?”
“There are angelic forces at work to stop most of what could occur. There is progress...”
I quake inside at what the Cherub hasn’t said yet. Space wars...
This week brings many good opportunities to plan for Spring. Even though the wintry cold continues for a lot of us, take some time to consider what you’d like to accomplish this coming Spring.
If you’re a gardener, you may very well be ahead of the game, looking for seeds and making plans. If you’re not, or simply thinking about doing some gardening, this is an excellent time to explore and then do it.
This Spring also offers new career opportunities for many of us, especially in the areas of what could be called *old-timey* skills, the skills of your grandparents or great grandparents.
If you’re not already *crafting*, for example knitting, take a look at what appeals to you the most, in the way of hands-on, making-it-yourself skills.
Remember the more love you give, the more you will receive, especially this week.
Wednesday's Words for February 17, 2010
Growing up in Canada, I’m old enough to remember the great Flag debate of 1964-1965. For those of you who don’t know, up until then, our flag was the Union Jack. Now you’re all saying....hmmm....why does that name sound familiar?
The Union Jack is the flag of Great Britain. We have always been the shy, insecure child who did not want to let go of our parent’s apron strings. Our first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald, is quoted as having said, “A British subject I was born, and a British subject I shall die.” That was during the negotiation of the British North America act of 1867 which created the Dominion of Canada. Whose Dominion? Why, the Queen’s, of course.
Then came the Statutes of Westminster, 1931, at which point Canada’s legislature was granted independence from Britain’s. Ha, you thought we were a free and independent nation in 1867, but no, it didn’t happen until 1931.
By the way, my mother adopted Sir John A’s sentiment as her own and darn near clobbered my brother for daring to put a red and white Maple Leaf flag on the family car back in 1964. Mother was very disappointed to lose the Union Jack (when Parliament adopted the Maple Leaf on February 15, 1965) and the Canadian Ensign (an Ensign is less than an official flag – sort of like one of those team banners on Survivor).
Hell of a long time to wait to take our first steps, wasn’t it? We began to run in 1982, when we repatriated our Constitution from Great Britain. But to this day, (as any of you may have noticed if you watched the opening of the Olympics) we have a Governor General who is the official head of state. She is vice-regal, meaning, she represents the Queen. So we may be walking and running, but it feels as if we’re tethered. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not anti-Royal. God Bless The Queen.
You’re probably all wondering where I am going with this history lesson.
Well my point is that all of my life, I’ve been very aware of Canada’s “national character” and that character is of a younger sibling not quite sure of itself or its place in the world. Feeling as if it’s never quite good enough. In other words, we the people of this nation have always had an inferiority complex. We have always been your shy, quiet neighbor to the north, the neighbor whose patriotism always came out at the decibel level of a whisper.
To a certain extent, we’re still like that. So when the 2010 Olympics were yet months away, an ad campaign began [with the key line: Do You Believe?] to try and stir Canadians’ hearts to the point that we would not only actually yell and scream and wave our flags, but maybe believe that we deserved to stand with the best in the world.
In addition, in 2005, an actual technical program called “Own the Podium” was created with the purpose to prepare athletes and coaches with the best technical knowledge, leadership, and training with the goal of achieving prominence in the winter Olympics of 2010 (a worthy goal since in the previous two Olympics held in our nation no Canadian athlete won a single gold medal). This was not a “secret plan” as I remember hearing about it on television during the coverage of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. Why shouldn’t a nation invest itself in its young people, teach them that it’s okay to strive for excellence, to want to win? And yet everyone from Stephen Colbert to the British tabloids are heaping invectives upon my country over that program and these Olympics.
There is no question, the horrific accident on the luge track last week in which an athlete from Georgia, Nodar Kumaritashvili, lost his life was beyond tragic. No one expected such a thing to happen at such a joyous celebration as the Olympics, and yet many of the sports I see represented here can be very dangerous. Sports fans everywhere mourned the death of so young a man who had come only to do his best, and well they should. Obviously, the accident needs to be investigated, and the decision to move the starting point on the track to below the sharp curve that created such high speeds was the right decision to make.
Perhaps recommendations will come that will improve the safety of a sport which to me looks insanely dangerous to begin with. This is good, and necessary. This is what we, as a civilized people, need to do, so that tragedies need not be repeated.
I’m not certain it’s fair to blame an entire nation, to insinuate that with one mind we sought to harm this young man. “Own the Podium” is not—despite what some of the media would have you believe—synonymous with “win at any cost”.
We may dare to seek to stand taller, but we are still Canadians.
Love,
Morgan
New Release 'Love Lessons with the Texas Billionaire' by Jan Bowles
My name is Jan Bowles and I’m an author of contemporary romances. I live with my husband in an old farmhouse in rural Lincolnshire, England, in the UK.
When I’m not writing I paint large landscapes and sweeping vistas. I also love walking, and looking in old antique shops. There just might be something someone has overlooked. If you’d like to know more about me please visit my WEBSITE or FACEBOOK page.
Let me introduce you to my latest release from Siren-Bookstrand. ‘Love Lessons with the Texas Billionaire’. It’s a very sexy hot read that’s sure to warm up the coldest of winter nights. So grab a cocoa and curl up with my latest release.
‘Love Lessons with the Texas Billionaire’ focuses on Eva St. John. She is an English beauty who is flown to Texas to shadow, rugged billionaire oilman, Jack McClaine, for the magazine article she is writing.
He has a reputation as a fast living, womanising rogue, who has quite literally come from the wrong side of the tracks. A self-made man who always gets what he wants.
Still nurturing a broken heart and a secret past she left behind her long ago, Eva intends to remain professional at all times. Will she be strong enough to resist the inevitable sexual advances of the predatory Texan, Jack McClaine? Ultimately, will she really want to?
I really love the strong charismatic character of Jack McClaine. He’s flawed, and yet so loveable. He’s a real sexy Texan, with a gritty past, and an eye for the ladies. I guess Eva will have her hands full when it comes to taming him! Yet, Eva is more than a match for Jack. Strong-willed and determined to stay professional, she will not yield so easily.
Here’s an excerpt
“Why, Miss Eva St. John, I feel about as welcome as a skunk at a lawn party.” Jack McClaine spoke as mild amusement played around his silver-grey eyes.See what I mean. Eva will certainly have to watch out for the very sexy, rugged Texan, Jack McClaine. You can find out more about ‘Love Lessons with the Texas Billionaire’ HERE Available Now from Siren-Bookstrand.
Eva eyed him warily. It was only two days since she had first laid eyes on the rugged Texan. Now his lithe, athletic frame perched on the desk, her desk. He looked every inch at home, as if he belonged there. Wearing a light grey suit, he seemed to think his very tall six-foot-three-inch frame had somehow a right to be there.
“Just what is going on, Mr. McClaine?” Eva folded her arms across her chest, her mouth compressed with indignation, as she waited for his answer. Her gaze was drawn inexorably to his, and like a laser it burned into her. Then as a smile spread from his eyes down to the deep dimples at the side of his mouth, she felt the breath escape from her lips in a silent gasp. Why did he have to be so damned attractive? She had to fight the sudden urge to push the stray hair back that had fallen forward across his forehead.
“Mr. McClaine, are you going to answer my question?”
“Hold on now, darlin’, I thought we were on first-name terms already.” He smiled at her in amusement.
“No, we’re not.” She slumped into her chair and glared up at him. “Andrew Jameson could shadow you for a month. Why do you want me? I won’t be a pushover, you know. I’ll certainly write exactly what I think.”
He smiled easily and twisted around to meet her frosty gaze. “Now, why would I want Andrew Jameson to shadow me for a whole month? Live in my home. Share my food. Share my life. Why would I want him when I’d be much happier with you?”
Eva picked up a pen and pointed it at him. “You, Mr. McClaine, have a reputation. If you are expecting anything but a working relationship, then you are mistaken.”
“Well, that’s settled then, honey.”
She looked up watching the amusement play around his eyes. The creases channelled down to his mouth. “Don’t look so smug, Mr. McClaine. You may regret your decision to invite New Dawn magazine into your home. You may not like what I write. Be careful what you wish for, Mr. McClaine.”
“Darlin’, I’ve never regretted anything in my life.”
“I told you once before, Mr. McClaine, I’m not your honey, and I’m telling you now, I’m not your darling either.”
He laughed. “Eva, it’s just a figure of speech. It don’t mean anything.”
That afternoon a huge row developed with her boss, Simon Jessop, but he wouldn’t back down. If she pulled this off, he’d give her a raise. Even more than that, he’d give her a promotion. She wanted to know why he thought Jack McClaine specifically asked for her to do the article. His thoughts exactly mirrored her own. He had lifted his hands in the air, an expression of helplessness on his face, and said, “You’re a big girl, Eva. I’m sure you can handle yourself, and Jack McClaine.”
Well, thanks!
Eva felt like a dish served up specifically for Jack McClaine’s pleasure. What’s more, her boss had handed her over on a solid silver platter.
Turning Thirty-Twelve ~ Best Book of 2009!
It's with great pleasure I announce that Turning Thirty-Twelve was named Best Book of 2009 by Long and Short Reviews!
Blurb:
Jackie Delgado didn't want a new man in her life until a dreaded blind date turns out to be more exciting than she'd ever imagined.
When her youngest son leaves for college, Jackie is hit hard by empty nest syndrome and pours herself into her work as a teacher. Bowing to pressure from friends, Jackie agrees to a blind date. But when Mark Brennan calls, she realizes the date won't be "blind." He's the father of one of her students.
Widower Mark Brennan isn't looking for love. After only a few dates with Jackie, he realizes he's quickly forming deep feelings for her. Wracked with guilt that he's "abandoning" his late wife, Mark resists the pull toward dynamic Jackie. When Mark's daughter begins to date Jackie's son, things become more complicated.
Can Jackie and Mark find the courage to leave the past behind and embrace a new love? And how will a surprise pregnancy affect all their lives?
"Forty should never be considered 'over-the-hill.' When I passed that milestone, I decided to write a strong, sexy forty-something heroine who broke the stereotypical romance mold. Jackie Delgado lives life out loud, refusing to surrender her vitality and passion simply because of a number. And for a dynamic character like Jackie, I just had to create equally passionate hero, Mark Brennan." ~Sandy~
Angelic Forecast ~ #76
“Yellowstone National Park, yes,” the Heavenly One confirms.
“Earthquake. Is the Yellowstone caldera being activated?” Everything inside me quakes. If the caldera explodes into a full-fledged volcano then those of us living in North America are in a bad way, a seriously bad way. Not only that, the entire Earth will be affected.
“Earthquakes, over a thousand now have been activated, already,” the Cherub explains, floating us above areas of melted snow.
“Why?” I’m still trembling inside, my own speculations racing at such a fast rate I can’t keep up with them.
Sitting close to me on our cloud, he points downward. Ripples, gigantic ripples flow outward, waving the ground below. “It’s who and why.”
“Who?” The choking smell of sulphur reaches my nose and I cough. Immediately, the Heavenly One soars us higher.
“Those who control the Moon. It’s a message.”
~~~~~~
For the following week it will be advisable to take a breath. To simply stop, if you can, and inhale several deep breaths. Do those things or engage in those activities that could be called languorously enjoyable, or leisurely. Nap. Curl up. Cuddle with those you love, yes, including your beloved pets.
Life has been on fast forward for quite some time with the convergence of several dynamics. Among them is the transition to the Aquarian Age. The crash and smash of what was the Age of Pisces is being accomplished, and none too soon. Many of the corrupted dreams that once represented this passing ‘Age of a Dreaming World’ are now being destroyed. Bashed to bits by the constant hammering of TRUTH.
Much of what has been accepted as the truth will be revealed to be nothing more than myth, myths created to control those who desire freedom, and would truly live free or die.
Do not let these revelations change the core of who you are. Let them change how you live in the world and how you create your life. This is the real power of change.
