Angelic Forecast ~ #65

Sedona’s Wings on Earth

Late November, 2013

For a blissful moment, Sedona raised her face to the late autumn sun. The watery light and the soft warmth not only bathed her body, but her soul. As time had passed from December 21, 2012, the skies had become clearer, the volcanic ash lessening. She breathed in the high mountain air, savoring the crispness and the overwhelming scent of pine.
“Aru,” she called her beloved dog. “Where are you? I just need to see you.”
At the telltale rustle of leaves, Sedona glanced in that direction. Aru loped up the rise of ground, his nose to the ground. Halting, he popped his wrinkled head up, pricked his ears and gave her knowing look.
Sedona smiled as she always did. “Okay. Have fun. Don’t roam too far.”
Mischievously, Aru flipped his curled tail, then spun around. He eased into a gallop toward one of his favorite areas to sniff and investigate.
Closing her eyes, Sedona focused on her newly forming wings. She’d practiced with the angelic version of her wings in the etheric realms. However, flying on Earth with materialized wings was a whole other matter.
Concentrating on bringing them forth fully, she felt each unfolding membrane, each feather and sinew. Painstakingly, she unfurled her wings, a challenge to her patience. More and more, she felt the sun’s rays on her fragile-feeling flesh and feathers. The gossamer radiance sparkled through her entire body, though.
Blinking open her eyes, she carefully stretched her wings outward. The breezes wafted over them. Still, she kept them steady, their slight weight an odd sensation on her back. Drawing in a huge sustaining breath, she flapped, a slow determined motion.
Focusing with all her might, Sedona kept them both moving at the same speed. She flapped a bit faster, increasing the power of her wings until her feet lifted off the ground.
Thrilled beyond measure, she stayed calm and maintained control as she’d trained herself to do. Sailing a few feet higher, she hovered for several minutes glorying in the feeling of being airborn. The freedom of it blazed through her.
With Volcano’s instructions dominating her thoughts, Sedona lowered herself at the first tingling ache. Landing on her feet easily, she allowed her wings to vanish from her back and return to the divine ethers.
“I did it! I did it!” she shouted, running like a young girl toward Aru.
Light as a gazelle, he bounced around her, celebrating with her. Soon they wrestled playfully. Sedona rolled on the ground, woggling her Aru, the laughter spilling out of her.
~~~~~~
The following week, and the next few weeks leading up to the winter solstice, presents an excellent opportunity for communication of all kinds. Talk with those you love, the deeper the better. It’s time and it’s the treasure of this holiday season.
Communicate with those you work beside. This is an opportunity to clear away old misunderstandings and create the future anew.
Follow the promptings of your highest self for the smoothest, most effective communication.
Remember communication, especially in the mainstream venues used by the world stage, is always a double-edged sword. Truth will be revealed as never before. At the same time, a veritable storm of lies will try to cover it up.
Your personal discernment is critical. No one can tell you what the truth is. It’s all up to you. That is the power of the Aquarian Age.
Excerpt
Mena took her clothing off as well and made her way over to the edge. Enjoying the water, Mena didn’t hear the branches snapping all around them or the heavy fall of footsteps.
“All right, come on, we need to walk some more and see if we can find that portal thing again,” Mena said.
Mena made her way out of the water, Kitty following behind her. Mena walked over to where her clothing was and bent to gather it. A boot stepped into her line of vision—a very, very large boot. She backed up and kept her head low, her eyes still on the boots. Slowly moving her eyes up, her every sense was on high alert. The strong smell of leather engulfed her as she took in huge thighs the size of tree trunks. A bulge that made her swallow just from the sheer size of it seemed to take up her entire line of vision. Muscles rippled under a smooth, hairless chest, the skin a golden bronze. She swallowed, not from fear, but from what… excitement? Her heart pounded quickly, heat consuming her every being. Arousal washed through her as she continued to stare at the most glorious male body she had ever seen. She should have been embarrassed by her blatant staring, but no, all she could think about was the purely male body in front of her. As she continued to stare, she noted the massive size of his forearms and biceps. The veins roped their way under his skin, standing in stark contrast. When her eyes finally reached his face, she felt her mouth drop open in amazement.
He was close to seven feet tall and nearly three hundred pounds of solid, rippling muscle! Mena craned her neck back just to look into his face. He showed no emotion, his expression making him look ruthless. His hair was short, cropped and the color of midnight. The color of his eyes boarded on eerie, an ice-blue that seemed to stare straight into her soul. A dark leather band wrapped around his forehead with strange tribal-like words written on the circumference.
Although she feared him on some level, she couldn’t help the arousal that burned inside of her. He wasn’t handsome in the classic sense, but the air of power and danger that surrounded him made him attractive in his own right. She brought her eyes back down and noted his chest sported tattoos in the same writing and tribal designs as the leather band around his forehead.
The tattoos began just above his nipples, working in a swirling pattern that disappeared over his shoulders. The same leather bands wrapped around both of his biceps, and tribal designs were tattooed around his forearms.
Who or what is this?
Wednesday's Words for November 25, 2009
There’s a video on youtube—I’ll let you look it up yourselves if you’re so inclined—called The Man Cold.
I’ve shown it to several of my female acquaintances and they all agree: that’s their man!
I’d like to inform you all that Mr. Ashbury is quite different from that video. Yes, I’d really like to tell you that. But unfortunately, I can’t.
Like most men, he regresses when he’s not feeling well. Unlike most men, he doesn’t do a lot of complaining. The reason is simple. It’s his desire to be noble in death.
Yes, Mr. Ashbury convinced himself long ago, before we got married actually, that he was going to die a young man. Hence, every time he’s a bit sick, or thinks he needs to see the doctor, in his mind it is the beginning of the end.
Now that didn’t come across with sufficient gravity. Let me try again. It Is The Beginning Of The End. Yes, he still believes he’s going to die young, even though I, (not indelicately you understand) pointed out that he wasn’t exactly young any longer.
His propensity for being convinced that his demise is imminent is known by every member of the family, and has become kind of like an inside joke.
You would think with this kind of thinking that Mr. Ashbury would be the first to line up for a flu shot each year, but alas, he only had it once, and then it was by ambush (he went with me when I got mine last year; our doctor is a force to be reckoned with).
I must report to you, as of writing this Tuesday evening, that Mr. Ashbury has a cold – poor little bunny. He took the day off work Tuesday, a fairly rare occurrence for him. This is a sign to me that he has a Bad Cold, and that indeed it could be The Beginning Of The End.
He has no fever. He is not coughing. He is not sneezing. He is not particularly achy, and while he claims he has been a bit sweaty, he hasn’t had the chills. Nor has he been lying around the house moaning—at least, not overly much.
He does, however, have a sore throat, and his sinuses have been bothering him.
I wasn’t to make a dinner that night, he informed me in the morning. Chicken soup was to be his menu of the day. So far, he has had two doses.
I also prepared my usual winter night time beverage of hot lemon. Very simple: cut a lemon into a pot, add water, simmer several hours. Then re-heat in the evening, pour some into a cup and add honey (for me just a touch of honey, and artificial sweetener).
He said that yes, he would take the hot lemon. This is yet another sign of how serious this cold is. He hates hot lemon.
By the way, just like that video on youtube, I have a cold too. Only I didn’t give mine to Mr. Ashbury – poor little bunny. He actually gave his to me.
He slept all morning yesterday, after getting up and having a cup of coffee. Then, around noon, he got up to lay in his recliner and rest. I gave him some chicken broth, which was what I was having too.
And since I didn’t have to worry about going out anywhere, such as to drive for an hour and a half fetching Mr. Ashbury from work, I thought I would fight my cold with an afternoon nap.
He woke me when he came back to bed about an hour and a half later to tell me he was coming back to bed. And no, he really didn’t feel that much better.
I have my fingers crossed that as you read these words, Mr. Ashbury will have returned to work—poor little bunny.
I figure that’s the only way I’m going to be able to get some rest myself.
I wish all my American friends a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving…and a happy birthday to Wednesday’s Words. It’s three years old – and no one is more amazed about that than I am!
Love,
Morgan
ADULT EXCERPT
Heat boiled from Clint’s gut as he watched Beth shower Dustin with pleasure, tempting him to throw caution to the wind.
Stay on course. Don’t veer.
Dustin grabbed two handfuls of Beth’s hair and fucked her deeper into her mouth.
Clint knelt behind Beth. He began kissing her back and rubbing her round buttocks, sliding his fingers to the wet, waiting flesh of her pussy beneath. More desire rolled through him.
“Beth, I want to taste your sweetness,” he whispered to her.
With her between him and Dustin, Clint saw her skin flush red. His body echoed her heat.
Clint guided Beth back to a pillow. Moisture coated her slit. He couldn’t wait another second.
The second he got his tongue on her, Clint moaned. She tasted sweet. With a lusty gasp, she gripped his shoulders, nails digging into his skin. She wanted more, and he resolved to give it to her. The sound of Dustin sucking on her breasts only added to his rush.
He grabbed Beth’s hips and pulled her closer, going deeper with his tongue, fingers sliding in a slow tease over her clit.
He pressed on her clit.
“O-Oh, y-yes.” She licked her lips.
“That’s it, Clint. Make her moan.”
Clint wanted to please Dustin and Beth, and also wanted more for him. His insides boiled.
“I’ve got to get inside you, Beth.”
“God, yes,” she said in a breathy rush.
He climbed over her, his dick in hand. He spread Beth’s legs farther apart and guided his pulsing cock between her slick folds, up and deep inside her. Her cunt tightened around his dick like a vise.
“Clint, you feel so good.”
He focused on the frenzy inside him. He went slowly into Beth’s tight cunt. How he wished he could make this moment last forever.
He watched every expression on her face. Each provided clues to what she wanted, and was ready to take. Whenever she bit her lip, he knew he could give her another inch of his dick. When he finally was able to fill her up with his dick, he watched her lick her lips. Everything about her drove him wild.
Clint rolled to his back, pulling Beth with him, his dick still in her pussy.
“Beth, I want to watch you blow Dustin.” He shove up into Beth again. She sat up and took every bit, whimpering with need.
“Will you stay inside me while I suck him?” Her eyes sparkled.
In answer, Clint leaned in and devoured her left breast, then whispered across her skin, “Trust me. I’m not going anywhere for a long while.”
“G-God.” Beth’s body shook as she continued riding Clint.
“Get closer, Dustin, to make it easier for her.”
Dustin came into Clint’s peripheral view.
Beth turned her head and swallowed Dustin’s cock. A wave of energy passed through Clint. The sexy display breathlessly burned him deep down, they were bent on stoking the fire. Burn, baby, burn. His psyche spiraled faster and faster and his climax loomed.
Angelic Forecast ~ #64
Note: Volcano and this author are on hiatus this week. However, Volcano has provided his Angelic Forecast, per usual.
2012, How about a Love Story instead of Doomsday?
How Special is December 21, 2012... the end of the Mayan Calendar?
Well, there’s the new movie. It’s going gangbusters, right now. No, I haven’t seen it and I’m not certain I really want to, given some of the comments I’ve heard. No, cell phones wouldn’t work the way they’re portrayed. So, really, how realistic is the catastrophic depiction?
Hollywood wants the blockbuster. The mega money. The movie isn’t about a probable well-researched outcome. It’s about what will bring in the millions, maybe billions of dollars. Any measure of real truth is sacrificed.
On paranormal radio programs, like Coast to Coast am and Unknown Country, for example, 2012 is one of the big! hot in-demand topics that a lot of us want to learn everything we can about. And, there is tons o’ info out there. There are comprehensive books by well-known investigators in the alternative fields. And, of course, if you search in internet land, you’ll find a veritable banquet of opinion, prophecy and hard astronomy data about 12-21-2012.
Did you know, as reported by the incomparable, hard-data researcher, Richard C. Hoagland of ~ http://enterprisemission.com/ ~ and author of the New York Times bestseller, Dark Mission... at least, from one of his trusted inside sources, there is a 2012 desk at the CIA? Supposedly, it’s been there for a long, long time. Okay, how weird would it be if someone at the CIA has read WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS, my 2012 erotic romance novel?
Actually, not so far-fetched, given there are black op agencies that keep track of all the fictional novels in the sci fi or paranormal subgenres. So, what do they know that we don’t? Yes, authors do write their personal stories as fiction like Whitley Strieber did in his novel, The Grays. Hey, maybe, that’s what they’re looking for. Maybe...? Since, it wouldn’t be the first time a novel has given an accurate picture of the future. Nope, that’s occurred repeatedly.
Of course, I’m deeply prejudicial. However, I think my 2012 novel is far superior to the movie, and has a more profound message. How come? It’s really quite simple. I did lots of research, in fact, it’s been a lifetime’s worth of research. And, yes, some of my life’s experiences are included as part of the story. It’s as truthful a telling about the future, even though it’s an angelic fantasy, as I could imagine, then pen.
For Sedona, my heroine in WHEN A GOOD ANGEL FALLS, December 2012, the 21st, could be called miraculously special for her in several ways. Finding love with Volcano, her carnal cherub hero, is the most special, of course.
~~~~~~

This week will be a series of extremes. That is, most everything on the world stage will be extreme events and extreme announcements from entertainment news to so-called mainstream news. Larger and bigger, a ten ring circus that has been created just for you. However, keep your eye on the ringmaster, the wizard behind the curtain. Truth resides there.
Everything is in hyper acceleration, currently. This includes your personal life. In whatever way you can slow the pace of your life, do it. It can only help you during the holiday season. Music as way to enjoy life and de-stress yourself will become more critical as all our frequencies come into alignment with the Aquarian Age.

Wednesday's Words for November 18, 2009

To get the shot, or not to get the shot: that is the question.

The Canadian government is providing to all who want it, free of charge, the vaccine for the H1N1 flu. I believe that it’s being made available to my neighbors in the United States as well.

In my area, the County Health Unit is administering the vaccine; with it being offered first to those deemed ‘priority cases’—that is to say those groups of people already identified as being at the highest risk to develop complications from this flu.

This group includes pregnant women, children from six months to five years of age, adults under the age of 65 with underlying medical conditions, and health care workers.

I’m in that third group – under 65 with underlying medical conditions.

My daughter, like a lot of people, is skeptical of this flu shot. Her feeling is that it was developed too quickly and not tested thoroughly enough.

From my understanding the flu vaccine used each year is different than the one from the year before; and actually, the medical-research establishment makes their best guess as to which strain of flu will be prevalent and manufacture the year’s vaccine based on that guess.

I’ve heard some rather strange comments about this particular ‘flu shot’. The strangest one, espoused by a woman of my daughter’s acquaintance, is that this vaccination is in fact the government’s secret master plan of execution – to get rid of the poor people.

On a daily basis, I deal with a lot of people. I never fully appreciate how intelligent most of my friends and associates are until I hear opinions like that.

There are some legitimate questions to ask about this ‘pandemic’. If you’re cynical, you might be of the opinion that the media of the world, frustrated when the supposedly imminent bird flu pandemic didn’t materialize a couple years back, jumped on the early reports of the swine flu (oh, sorry, politically correct this to use the term H1N1), making a mountain out of a molehill, as it were.

Some researchers claim this new strain of influenza doesn’t kill any more people than any other influenza has done in recent years. And yet we hear cases of previously perfectly healthy people being stricken, and dying, seemingly almost overnight from this flu—in our area a thirteen year old hockey player being the most notable. I cannot in all honesty recall a similar kind of instance in recent years with ‘normal’ flu strains.

There are others than my daughter who are suspicious of the speed with which this vaccine was developed. To me it seems as if there is a veil of fear – fear of government, fear of foreigners, fear of practically every darn thing – that has invaded human society of late. Thus, the ‘opinion’ I cited above about the government killing off the poor isn’t the only one out there that thinking, rational people are repeating. I really miss common sense.

Because of the Internet, people are communicating more than ever and learning more than ever all the time. Conversely, it has never been easier for baseless rumour and innuendo to spread as any idiot can, and does, have a web site supporting the most preposterous of claims.

One only has to look back to the history of the last century to understand what can happen if measures aren’t taken against this new strain of flu. In the years 1918-1919, the influenza pandemic killed between 20 and 40 million people worldwide.

The astute among you will scoff and say, well yes, but Morgan, that was before the days of modern medical science and flu shots.

And I ask, what difference does modern medicine make, if people refuse to be immunized?

To get the shot or not get the shot: it’s a decision everyone needs to make. I hope you choose as I have done, and get it.

Love,
Morgan

Angelic Forecast ~ #63

FROM LAST WEEK ~

“What next?” I ask before he can tell me anything. “And how’s Sedona?”
“My beloved woman and Aru enjoy our special cabin. Sedona is practicing with her new wings.”
“Wings?” I euphorically tingle inside at the thought.
“Her angel wings, yet, they are new to Earth. Manifesting them can be iffy for a time.”
I nod. “Oh, that makes sense.”
“My woman is gloriously beautiful...” The Cherub stops, as if he is about to say too much. His beatific grin makes his face even more radiant. “Chrysallos. That is our next place to visit.”

TO BE CONTINUED ~

“Chrysallos?” I ask, settling myself on top of the Cherub’s cloud. It has metamorphed into a comfy mattress-like thickness.
“A realm deeper inside the Earth. It’s the home of the blue people, as some call them.”
We cruise higher in the ice aqua sky. At least, it looks like a sky. “Are the people related to the blue-skinned gods and goddesses of India?”
“They were originally a remnant of that space-faring group, yes. Now, they’ve re-established contact with their original home world.”
Picking up speed, we shoot above a landscape that reminds me of a magical woodland painting. Strangely, I feel no wind whipping over me. “Are we visiting so I can include them in one of my stories?”
“An author’s imagination is precious. However, yes and no, is your answer. Are you feeling hungry, yet?”
I check in with my stomach. “Not really. By now, I should be hungry. Except, there’s been so much wonder, so much to see and learn. Meeting Sarius and the other horses is a dream come true.”
“That, yes, dear one, and the atmosphere here is enriched with nutrients.”
I let that concept soak in, then grin and say “I’m digesting that idea.”
The Heavenly One gives me a “I get the joke’ joyful smirk.
~~~~~~
The forthcoming week will bring new challenges. With Saturn squaring Pluto, it’s now time to look at the cages you’ve put yourself in, and the cages you’ve been put in by the Dark Forces. Freedom is likely to become an even bigger battle cry as folks realize how they’ve been trapped by those in power, the ones who care nothing for humanity.
On a personal level, it’s not only time to bring your deepest secrets up to the light and view them with your own luminous being, it’s also time to bring forth abilities that will empower you and your life. Powerful abilities you’ve been unaware of will now surface.
You Gotta Read Review of THE SHOW MUST GO ON
MarthaE of You Gotta Read Reviews has given my sweet romance, The Show Must Go On, a "You NEED to Read rating! Read the review here: http://yougottareadreviews.blogspot.com/search/label/Kim%20Sheard
Here's the blurb, excerpt, and link for you!
Blurb:
Allyson Parker, the stereotypical shy librarian, finds an outlet for her wilder side by performing in community theater. There she can become someone else, someone infinitely more interesting and confident. Partnered in her first romantic lead with newcomer Matt Dauer, she begins to hope that life can imitate art. But can she overcome her bashfulness and self-doubts, cultivated by years of frequent relocations, in order to keep his interest?
Matt moved to Washington, D.C. from Chicago to escape a cheating, diva ex-girlfriend, but he's now also far from his parents and two brothers. His greatest desire is to create a new family as close-knit as the one he left behind. He must return to that past, though, when his ex is involved in a serious car accident and he is called on to help. Will his benevolent act mean the end of his blossoming relationship with Allyson?
Excerpt:
The last scene of Act One involved only Allyson and Matt's characters. They had blocked the scene late one evening just before breaking for the night, but hadn't had the chance to rehearse it beyond that. The script called for Victoria and James to share their first tentative kiss just before the blackout and intermission. Peter had explained that it would be one of those moments often seen in movies, where the two characters stare at each other for an uncomfortably long period and then draw in agonizingly slowly for the kiss. Allyson and Matt had heard the description, but they hadn't acted it yet.
Allyson was nervous about it.
She tried hard to just think about the words she said and what they meant. Plus, as much as possible with a script in her hand, she maintained the eye contact Ginny and Clark demonstrated.
"What is it that you want?" was Matt's final line, then she and Matt stood, three feet apart, gazing into each other's eyes.
Most of Allyson's brain forgot that she was playing a part as she looked
at him. His blue eyes fixed on hers, and she couldn't have torn her gaze away if she'd tried.
He took a step toward her, and her heart fluttered with joy.
She took her own step, bringing her close enough now to see the yellow flecks in his irises. They circled his pupils like fire, and when he took another step, she fancied she could feel the flame.
One more step and she forgot to breathe, thinking only of his eyes and of his scent and of the hand that reached out to touch her own.
As their fingers laced, he bent his head down. Her neck stretched back, allowing her to maintain the gaze that linked them tighter than their hands until she felt his breath on her face. Then she focused on his plump, pink lips, which inched closer and closer to her own.
The instant before their lips touched, she closed her eyes, prepared to savor it. And savor she did. At first, their meeting was feather light and sweet, and she relished the soft teasing. But it quickly grew more intense, their mouths pressing hard into each other as if to become one. Warmth radiated from their joining down her back to pour into her arms and legs.
She'd never experienced such delight and such yearning need at the same time. She relaxed into it, hearing a thud that momentarily puzzled her until she realized she'd dropped her script onto the stage. That and the catcalls and whistles from their cast mates in the seats brought her back to her senses. With her cheeks burning, she pulled away from Matt. His face looked red, too, and she thought she saw reluctance in his eyes. She blinked, trying to get her bearings.
"Curtain," Peter called, joining the two of them on the stage. "End Act One. Take a break, everybody." The cast in the audience scattered.
Peter cleared his throat and told his leads in a low voice, "Um, guys, that was not tentative. It looked great, but save it for Act Two, okay?" He cleared his throat again. "And those private times." His eyes sparkled as he ambled away.
Yet Another Five Star (Dragon) Review
Hold you hats. My second Sensual Awakenings, novel, Sharing Brenda, has garnered another five star review, the third. I say five star but the review site, Veiled Secrets Reviews calls them dragon. Anyway that's a heep load of dragons
Sharing Brenda
Sharing Brenda
Available in: Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Reader, HTML, Mobipocket
Price: $4.50
Brenda Evans had never been so humiliated as she was on her wedding day. She was married all of two seconds when her new spouse, Kerry, cheated on her at their reception. With one of her bridesmaids. And they were caught by several people. Unable to cope with this humiliation, Brenda flees the reception with her best friend Jasmine and her two husbands, and ends up alone on their honeymoon struggling to face life. Jasmine isn't going to leave her that way. She's arranged a new life for Brenda at the ranch her husbands came from.
Brenda arrives at the airport and is met by the most handsome cowboy she's ever seen, Billy
Joe Watkins. He can't keep his eyes off Brenda. She's beautiful and so hurt that all he wants to do is love her and show her how a real man would treat her. Of course he has to share her with his best friend, Salvador Rivas. Both are known as ladies men, but there is something different about Brenda, something that makes them want to be only with her. When they look at her they know she is their mate. So the two cowboys, best friends, put their heads together and decide that Brenda deserves the best in life, and that would be both of them. It's not easy to convince this wounded woman that they can be faithful to her and love her together. As Brenda becomes part of the ranch family she picks up the pieces of her life and ends up with two stunningly delicious cowboys determined to show her how to be loved and love in return.
I couldn't turn the pages fast enough as I started reading
Sharing Brenda. This is The second
book in the Sensual Awakenings series. As both Billy Joe and Sal decide to woo Brenda into their arms and their beds, showers, and any place they can get a chance to show her their special brand of loving, my heart rate increased and I began to wish it were me in place of Brenda. I was so glad to see how Brenda picks up her life and learns what real love with two very determined, sexy as sin, cowboys can bring to her life. There is nothing so satisfying as reading a book that takes you to new heights of love and desire. Watching the two men teach their woman what only the two of them can do for her and making it a permanent arrangement after making her see herself as the woman she truly is, just took my breath away. I fell in love with the characters in this story and was thrilled with every minute of the way the three of them come to life as you read each page.
I read this book straight from start to finish, not wanting to take any breaks or put it down. I am
now going to go in search of the first book in the series and can't wait to see the next book in the Sensual Awakening series. It sure puts out a lot of heat, and I know it gave me a lot to think about. Don't miss this book. It will light a fire under you to find your man for some intense love making.
Wednesday's Words for November 11, 2009
Within a couple of hours of posting this essay I’ll be on my way, the last leg of my trip to Ottawa to visit a friend, fellow writer and critique partner. She gets one of her regular days off in the middle of the week. We’ll be brainstorming and just hanging out. I haven’t seen her since April, and the RT convention in Orlando, so I’m really looking forward to it.
My beloved is taking a last-minute vacation of his own. He’s enjoying tropical beaches and high heat, neither of which are good for me at the moment as my knee hasn’t quite healed.
For just the second time in my life I’ve enjoyed a few days at home alone. I’ve been trying to get ahead of the NaNo curve, so this quiet time was a gift. It felt very strange not to have to worry about anyone but myself; to go to bed early and then, upon waking in the middle of the night, know it was all right to get up and write some more, because that was what I wanted to do. Very nice not to be yanked mercilessly from slumber by a mechanical beeping pest.
The dog isn’t happy with me, of course, because I was the one who took his daddy away. Ah well, you can’t have everything.
For those of you who are married, have you ever taken separate vacations? We did this one time before, years ago when the kids were all still with us. We’d had a really good year, financially, and thought it would be nice to get away for a couple of days alone. We took turns, separate weekends in Toronto.
Neither of us asked the other to account for our time. We don’t operate that way. I recall that I slept a lot of that weekend, and enjoyed the luxury of not having to prepare a meal or make a bed. When I wasn’t sleeping I had a book by the indoor pool, and no one to worry about but myself.
The guys my husband works with are, by and large, much younger than he is. It took them a couple of weeks to believe that I would actually “let him” go on vacation by himself. Once they understood that yes, he was going and no, I was not then they peppered him with questions about what he would do on the beaches in the Caribbean. Rubbing their hands together they had all sorts of images in their heads.
He gave up trying to convince them that he was mostly just going to swim, snooze, read, and eat (my beloved is about 26 years sober and has no interest in alcohol whatsoever). We both understand their lack of belief stems from knowing that if they vacationed without their wives or girlfriends to a lush, all-you-can-eat-or-drink tropical paradise peppered with pretty women in bikinis, they would not be so restrained in their behaviour.
The tropics at this time of year tend to be very hot and humid, and under the best of circumstances, that’s not comfortable for me. I like warmth, but not scorching heat.
We’ve been married for going on 38 years now, and one of the secrets to a long marriage, we believe, is giving each other permission to be individuals, and room to breathe.
Just in case anyone feels sorry for my lack of water sports this week, take heart. Since Ottawa is a fairly long drive, I stopped more than half way and took a room for the night, one that has a Jacuzzi in the bedroom. The hotel also features an indoor saltwater pool. With a knee that’s been out of commission (but is healing) I’ve had to limit myself to showers, as my tub is too hard to get in and out of. So first I enjoyed a swim, and then a nice long soak in the big jetted tub. It was my idea of heaven. All right, all right, I confess. Two long soaks. And one on the agenda before I leave this morning. I may look like a prune but I’m a very relaxed one.
Tomorrow my friend and I will be sipping tea, checking in on a chat I’m doing for part of the day, and basically touching base face to face sharing all our busy lives have held these last few months. We’ll begin to plan our time together in Columbus in the spring, for the next RT convention.
We’ll also brainstorm some plot ideas, have a look at each other’s works in progress, and probably watch some chick flicks in the evening. She has four children, and I’m looking forward to getting to know them better, too.
Vacations are different for everyone, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Love,
Morgan
Angel and the Lawman Releases Today!
Greetings Everyone:
Since today is the release day of my first book with Siren-Bookstrand, Inc. I thought I would introduce myself and give you some information on the book.
I'm a native Midwesterner transplanted to Montana and finally retired from a 80% travel job in the medical industry. I have always written for fun and for magazine articles as well as short stories in my spare time. I sold a novel in 2000 and short story and proceeded to have total chaos in my life.  Well, I'm finally back with a new webpage, a new blog and a new novel.  In honor of my moving to the west, I felt a western romance was perfect for me.  I'm not a erotic writer although there are a few sex scenes in the novel that might change your mind, but I was told by Alison that it required more than 2 erotic scenes to qualify for the Siren side of the business. So I come up as  Sensual in the Bookstrand line.  I hope it fits.
With that said, I thought I would post current links to those who are interested in my new book Angel and the Lawman as well as my new blog and new webpage.  I've put in an excerpt below the picture for those of you who avid romance readers. I'm working on a sequel to this one, a children's book and a scifi romance novel. Huge jump from one to the other, but it keeps my mind active. If you are looking for me as Stormy, you should still find me and all my free fiction on my webpage listed under Stormynite fiction. Just click that link and it will take you to all the stories that used to be on my old webpage. I've gone with BW Starmer or Barbara W. Starmer for all my new "for sale" writing, so search under that and I should come up. Sign up to follow me on my Blog and if you are writing a blog or need a link to a webpage, feel free to contact me.
This is so much fun. Hope you enjoy the book and if you want to write a review, contact me off my webpage and I'll link it there. Any suggestions you might have on selling ebooks is appreciated as well.
Angelic Forecast ~ #62
FROM TWO WEEKS AGO ~
Sarius nuzzles me with a sweetness that brings tears to my eyes. We turn around together and companionably walk back the way we came. I know the Cherub is waiting for me.
Reflectively, I say, “I love Mother Earth. I love the animals, the plants, the land. I love the people on Earth.”
I know. It’s why you’re here at this time on Earth.
“I just wish the people of Earth loved each other.”
TO BE CONTINUED...
I watch the Cherub surf toward me, using his exquisite pink cloud like a surfboard. His dark hair blows back and he looks like a romance-novel bad boy against the backdrop of a silvery pale blue sky. No wonder Sedona can’t resist him.
Inner Earth, the sky. It isn’t really a sky. I wonder what they call it here. I wonder about who resides here. I wonder about the civilizations. I know there is more than one. I can feel it.
Arriving before me, the Heavenly One smiles, lighting up my heart. He reaches a hand down for me, then literally sails me up to the cloud so I stand beside him.
“What next?” I ask before he can tell me anything. “And how’s Sedona?”
“My beloved woman and Aru enjoy our special cabin. Sedona is practicing with her new wings.”
“Wings?” I euphorically tingle inside at the thought.
“Her angel wings, yet, they are new to Earth. Manifesting them can be iffy for a time.”
I nod. “Oh, that makes sense.”
“My woman is gloriously beautiful...” The Cherub stops, as if he is about to say too much. His beatific grin makes his face even more radiant. “Chrysallos. That is our next place to visit.”
~~~~~~

The forthcoming week follows in the steps of the previous week. Opportunity to grow your dreams continues. There is a golden light enveloping Mother Earth, there to be used by all of us in furthering our lives to the benefit of everyone. The dark forces seek to obscure this light, this golden opportunity, by creating horrendous distractions, by placing mountainous obstacles in our way. By using their foul energies to darken our world and foster chaos.
Grow your dreams. Grow your souls. And remember to love one another.

Hunk Alert: Meet Sexy Evan

~ * ~ EXCERPT CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT ~ * ~

#6 on the Siren-Bookstrand Bestseller list!

KATA SUTRA by J. Rose Allister
Rated SCORCHING by Siren-Bookstrand’s Menage Amour Line
http://www.bookstrand.com/product-katasutra-15770-201.html

VIEW THE TRAILER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAaUKTbb_Z0

Blond, rippled, and intensely passionate about more than just martial arts, Evan is the owner of the Dakota Dragon karate school. And whether he’s engaged in combat or erotic maneuvers, he is more than capable of showing exactly why "dragon" is featured in the name.

EXCERPT:

Before she could react, Evan struck out of nowhere, flashed around and came up behind her. Taking hold of one wrist, he pushed her in a smooth, controlled movement against the padded bag until her cheek rested against vinyl. A squeal barely had time to escape her throat before he had her pinned with her wrist pressed into the bag over her head. He ran one hand along the length of her spine, the heat of his body fanning her mixture of panic and desire. A flaming chill went along with it.

He growled disapproval. “I thought as much.” His breath and words came in tingling puffs against her ear. “You came to train your body in fighting skills without so much as bothering with a bra?”

With equal lack of warning, he released her, and with a whoosh of escaping breath, she forced herself to turn and face him. Had it been that obvious? Her used gi top wasn't that worn, was it?

Try though she may, a quiver unsteadied her voice. “I don't like them. Too constricting for freedom of movement.” She folded her arms across her chest, her eyes flicking of their own accord to a visible change in the architecture of the front of his pants. “Not that it's any of your business. Bras aren't listed on your 'Required Dress' sheet.”

His laugh rumbled all the way down through her pelvis. “They shouldn't have to be. Nor should I have to wait for the rest of the class to leave so as not to embarrass you by mentioning it.”

So, they were alone.

Conflicting scenarios flashed through her mind, involving either running for her life or catapulting her celibacy out the window.

4 out of 5 Cherries for A Brazen Love Worth Fighting For

Whipped Cream reviews gave A Brazen Love Worth Fighting For 4 Cherries.

Jasmine said, "Would I recommend this book to a friend? Definitely! In fact, I can’t wait to get my greedy little hands on the next story. Not only am I hooked, but I’m also not ashamed to admit that I need to know what happens with the next Brazen sister, which I’m hoping is going to be Samantha’s story."

Hollywood Lights [The Heroes of Silver Springs 6] is Now Available!

Hollywood Lights

[The Heroes of Silver Springs 6]
Now released at

http://www.bookstrand.com/product-hollywoodlights-15829-192.html

Tess returned to Silver Springs leaving her heart and acting aspirations behind in Hollywood. Two years later, both have followed her. Now an officer with the SSPD, she's found the strong, in control, happy side of herself she always sought. But a single command from Devon Gerard's panty-wetting voice takes it all away, sending her spiraling down a path of wicked desire.

Devon never understood why Tess left. Still, he let her go without a fight, and it was the stupidest thing he ever did. When his latest role brings him to Silver Springs, he knows it's time to reclaim what is his. But a case she's working on collides with the film he's shooting, throwing them into a battle that rages with danger, deceit, and desire.

ADULT EXCERPT

Tess couldn't think. Perhaps that was a good thing.

No, not perhaps. Not thinking would prove to be a very good thing. At least until this ended. Until reality slapped her in the face and her real world returned.

But right about now, with Devon's hands on her ass and his tongue inching toward her aching heat, she couldn't remember precisely what her real world entailed. His tongue skipped lower, stopped a millimeter from hitting home, and she whimpered.

"Please." She hadn't meant to beg, would surely be embarrassed as hell about the fact that she did later, but now it rendered her with the ability to forget her inhibitions. Her body wanted, needed things he denied her, and if she had to beg to get them, then Goddamn it, she'd beg.

He laughed, the bastard, a breathy chuckle against her lower belly that brought goose pimples to the surface of her flesh from the roots of her hair to the tips of her toes. Then he pulled back, pushing her from between his legs, and she truly considered kicking the shit out of his shin. That would teach him to find amusement in her torment. The idea skittered out of her brain when he started to bend her over his lap.

"W-what are you doing?" Mortification warred with the devious thrill that kicked up in her middle.

"I'm about to give you the punishment I owe you. Lie across my lap, Theresa, and don't fight me or it will be worse."

"I—"

She couldn't do it. With this one act, he would strip away a sizeable chunk of the self-preservation she had built since leaving him.

She wanted to do it. The need to obey him, to submit to his every command, burned her insides from nipples to pussy.

"Theresa, I did not make a request." His tone hardened, the authority settling in the air like a stone.

Tess let him guide her until she lay on her stomach across his thighs, arms bound behind her back, her ass exposed to his sight and his hand. She closed her eyes as he caressed first one cheek and then the other. She sucked in a breath of half fear and half anticipation as he slipped a finger beneath the thong that sliced between her cheeks.

"We're not going to discuss this punishment now," he told her, his voice thick with his own arousal. She could feel his cock, long and hard, inside his jeans, pressing at her side. "You know what it is for."

She did. She left him. A feat she didn't deserve to be punished for and yet couldn't find it in herself to protest the sentence he'd given her. Because as right as she had been to do what she did, the devil inside her wanted this, needed to be disciplined for her actions.

"You will take this punishment without argument and when I'm done, you will thank me. Do you understand?"

Thank him for punishing her? Not a chance in hell, pal. She nodded and heard the quiet "Yes" spill from her lips seemingly of its own accord.

The first hard slap to the tender flesh of her ass stung like a bitch. Tess inhaled sharply. The second didn't come immediately. Instead, Devon took a moment to palm the spot, soothing the burn and allowing the anticipation to build.

"Mmm, I've always loved the way your flesh turns such a fantastic shade of red when I spank it. You didn't do as you threatened, the all over tan you talked about getting. I'm glad. I might have been forced to punish you more if you had."

A second slap came on the heels of his last word, and her cheek exploded in a riot of vicious pleasure. The third smack landed on her other cheek quickly followed by a fourth. He'd always been thorough in making sure each side got equal attention. His fifth and six strikes came harder and faster, and her pussy gushed, her juices leaking from between her feminine lips.

She felt dizzy, her head spinning in a tilt-a-whirl of pain and pleasure. The lines between the two blurred beyond vision. That's when she lost count. He spanked her, working her tender flesh until her bottom flamed, her pussy convulsed, and the orgasm knocked on the walls of her sodden channel.

Almost there. The thought became a mantra in her mind as her release grew claws, climbing higher and higher. Almost there, almost there, almost….

"Theresa, are you about to come?" He stopped, the next blow so close, she could feel the warmth of his hand, but he didn't make the contact.

"Please." She squirmed on his lap, struggling to lift her buttocks to meet his hand, fighting to squeeze her legs together to offer a bit of pressure to her throbbing clit.

He slid his hand beneath her panties instead, pushing her legs apart to swipe a finger between her pussy lips. "Damn, Theresa, you're soaked, baby. I know you didn't come already."

"Not yet," Tess said through gritted teeth. "But if you'll give me another second, I will."

He laughed, and she considered biting his thigh since she dismissed the idea of kicking his shin earlier. He remained fully clothed, but she bet she could get in a good bite through the denim of his pant leg.

"Do you want to come, Theresa?"

"Duh."

He tsked. "Such feistiness should earn you more punishment, not pleasure. Although," he paused to circle his finger along the outer edge of her opening, "it feels as though punishment gives you pleasure, as well."

Tess said nothing at that. She couldn't. She didn't want to acknowledge the truth of that statement.

"Thank me now, Theresa."

Thank him? No. No way. "You aren't finished."

"I can be." Warning rang in the air from those three little words.

"No, please." He couldn't stop, couldn't leave her like this. She'd die from the torment.

"Then thank me for your punishment."

Tess gulped. She couldn't say it, wouldn't. Her lips parted, another argument on the tip of her tongue, but the two humiliatingly truthful words spewed out instead. "Thank you."

"How do you wish to be pleasured, my love?"
