Yet Another Five Star (Dragon) Review

I couldn't turn the pages fast enough as I started reading Sharing Brenda. This is The second book in the Sensual Awakenings series. As both Billy Joe and Sal decide to woo Brenda into their arms and their beds, showers, and any place they can get a chance to show her their special brand of loving, my heart rate increased and I began to wish it were me in place of Brenda. I was so glad to see how Brenda picks up her life and learns what real love with two very determined, sexy as sin, cowboys can bring to her life. There is nothing so satisfying as reading a book that takes you to new heights of love and desire. Watching the two men teach their woman what only the two of them can do for her and making it a permanent arrangement after making her see herself as the woman she truly is, just took my breath away. I fell in love with the characters in this story and was thrilled with every minute of the way the three of them come to life as you read each page.

I read this book straight from start to finish, not wanting to take any breaks or put it down. I am now going to go in search of the first book in the series and can't wait to see the next book in the Sensual Awakening series. It sure puts out a lot of heat, and I know it gave me a lot to think about. Don't miss this book. It will light a fire under you to find your man for some intense love making.

Amanda's Review: Sharing Brenda starts out where Jasmine’s Urban Cowboys leaves off, and as I have stated before, Brenda was the reality check that Jaz’s story needed. I can now say it continues into Ms. Ashton’s sequel.

Last time we saw Brenda she was about to make the biggest mistake of her life, she was going to marry Kerry. Even though her friends and everyone around her told her not too, she pushed forward, hoping it would get better. It only got worse. With Annulment on her mind she sets out to change her life for the better!

Sharing Brenda is nothing like the first book; where Jasmine’s Urban Cowboys is hot and heavy from the beginning, Brenda takes her time, making sure having a threesome and a relationship with two men is something she wants, and something that might take her life in the right direction.

I loved Ted and Gregg in the first book, but I didn’t like Sal in this story. I found him way too pushy and overbearing. There is a fine line between being an Alpha and just being a jerk, and yeah, to this reader, Sal falls in the jerk column.

I believe Brenda would have been happy with just Billy. He was the one who looked out for her, and he was the one who defended her. I found the way he protected and took care of her sweet and kind. I would have to say I would rather have a Billy in my life than a Sal. But that is just my personal opinion.

The sex in Sharing Brenda was just as good and just as HAWT as Jasmine’s Urban Cowboys. It leaves you craving more and turning the pages slower as every word seeps into your consciousness. The visuals are stunning and I love how Ms. Ashton leaves her stories open for another installment. Which this reviewer is hoping will happen sometime soon. LOL!!!

So peeps, if you are looking for another sizzling story from Ms. Ashton, Sharing Brenda is the book to read!

This book by Laura Ashton was forceful. The sexual scenes were both explicit and frequent. The fact that Jaz was going to have to choose one man was the underlying question that kept surfacing throughout the manuscript. The powerful men were vibrant and forceful. However, they always seemed to toe-the-line when it came to Jaz’s demands. It was strange how she was able to call all the shots in their unusual relationship.

I was impressed with the depth of the characters, both the main and supporting ones. The storyline was well developed and I found myself immersed in this book. The fact that these men were wealthy made no difference to Jaz until they were able to open doors for her professionally which changed her life completely.

The sexual tension was vigorous and frequent. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart. The sensuality was explicit but, while a big part of the book, did not come across as nothing but sex. The ménage was uninhibited. The ending was totally unexpected.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys M/F/M. The fact that there was such a strong storyline assured me that the book would be remembered. It’s a great read which will not disappoint any readers.

Sensual Awakenings, Book One: Jasmine's Urban Cowboys is a dynamite read. Jaz's character is a blast. She has spark, is fun, down to earth, and the type to go after what she wants. The story sizzles with Jaz, Gabe and Ted. The secondary characters are robust and add just the right amount of seasoning to keep the story moving at a good pace. I enjoy Brenda and the friendship she and Jaz share. There are some pleasant twists and turns along the way that the reader doesn't know what Jaz has up her sleeve next. With some surprises and anticipations, Laura Ashton awakens the senses and breathes life into the pages. She makes Jaz real by placing her in a situation where the players must make decisions, while following their heart. I definitely want to read the second and the third in this astounding series.

I have to say that Jasmine’s Urban Cowboys is one hell of sexy ménage ride involving Ted, Jaz and Gabe. Ms Ashton lead characters have lots of sexy fun in the beginning then slowly manages to seduce not only the heroine, Jaz but readers too will fall in love with this novel as well.

Usually, there’s drama before the fun and sexy scenes come to life but Ms.. Ashton comes up with a new way to draw in the readers. Sure, we all like to read sexy love scenes yet there’s a hell of lot more drama behind the scenes as well that keep everyone entertained.
　
One of those dramas are Jaz’s best friend, Brenda who’s life right now isn’t going the way she’s hoped for. I for one hope that Ms. Ashton is going to give Brenda a chance to shine in her book soon?
　　
Another memorable character is Ted’s mother, Camilla.. She is one of kind sweetheart who's very open to new things and isn’t easily offended by people’s choices and lifestyles. Seeing her son and nephew fight for what they want makes Camilla wants the same and go out to get what she's hoping to find her own happy ending.
　
Back to the main characters, I am amazed and definitely charmed by these three main characters. Ted and Gabe are so sweet and sexy and were definitely brought up to respect a woman. These men sure didn’t give up on Jasmine and kept on slowly seducing her over to their bed… Oops. I mean their side.
　　
All that is left to say about Jasmine’s Urban Cowboys is that you won’t forget anytime soon. They only other thing I can say about this book is that this is one sexy true love story that is just the beginning of great series called Sensual Awakenings.
　　
My vote… Say yes to Ms. Ashton’s Jasmine’s Urban Cowboys.

“Ms. McKeever does some masterful writing weaving in parts about the previous books and the gifts inherent in the Vega and Calminetti families. I'm glad she's able to work in some of the history, beauty and landmarks of Colorado as she builds the story. The scenery of places I may never get to or sites I love adds a lot of realism to the story. Dark and Fair Elves, centaurs, precognition and some mind reading flit through the pages filling in the storyline or sometimes building the suspense. There's a lot of fun between Jason and Evelyn and it's easy to hope they can work out their differences. This is a really enjoyable read.” 5 Hearts, Dee Dailey, The Romance Studio.
