"There's a new endgame in town," Dhuroth murmurs in his manly purr. His huge hands gently capture my shoulders.

Instantly the screens switch, and I see a "Star Trek" type of battle. Beams flash back and forth between leviathan-sized ships. "Wow," pops out of my mouth. "Who knew?"
"We did," my lion man teases. His hands lovingly massage my shoulders. "I have not been able to show you every ongoing battle, my one woman."
"I guess not," I say, utterly transfixed. "Who are the players?"
