MUDFLAT TOY BOY Review -

I received this great review for ParaNormalRomance and am delighted!  Thanks, Nancy!

Review:

"you won't be disappointed!"

When last we were in Mudflat, Claire, Nance, Tarvik and Jimmy had banded together as an odd foursome. Tarvik was adapting well to life in another time and Claire was still feeling "those feelings" about him. When Tarvik changed times he had brought along his father's sword as a reminder. It looked great stashed in Tar's closet but, as Claire's grandmother once said..."It has done terrible things."

Mudflat is a part of Seattle but nothing like that city. Mudflat is the place where you live if you aren't quite like the others; if you're a 150-yr old mage, if you came from another time and culture or, if, like Claire you can read the stars. Or if, also like Claire, you have a Troll renting your basement. Mudflat keeps it own secrets and this time there are more than a few of them.

Mages are dying, not the young wannabees - these are the old ones - leaving a gap in wizardry in Mudflat. Although assumed wealthy, nothing is left but the mage's house, in each case. Sergei, the mage in charge, does not believe this is accurate and soon a team is created to see just what is happening. So Claire and the gang are off chasing thieves while Sergei is directing from afar as usual. Who's up to no good? Does it have something to do with the return of Darryl Decko?

This is the third book in the series of Mudflat adventures and I found it just as good as the others! Maybe more so because the individual characters were fleshed out a bit more and I understood a bit better what Sergei's plan is and how it all fits together.

If you've read "Tarbaby Trouble" and "Welcome to Mudflat, Baby" you won't be disappointed!
