What an interesting post Tiffany! I was lucky enough to drink fresh, loose leaf, authentic green tea during my recent trip to Shanghai, China. One of the hotels we stayed in had their own tea plantations, so I was also able to watch how they manually processed the freshly picked tea leaves by rubbing them in a big metallic basin (I think it was copper but I'm not sure). I was offered freshly brewed loose leaf tea to drink; it was delicious. I came home with packets of their green tea and now drink it everyday.
