Only 5 hours left...

until the release of Corralling Dawn :) The third book in my Midnighter Seduction series.

An ancient portal quietly reopened the day the Mayan calendar ended, but it wasn't the "big bang" ending of the world as predicted. It has, however, changed everything for Dawn LaPorte.
Dawn has focused her life on taking care of the ranch her grandfather left her. A rash of strange cattle mutilations threatens her dreams and leads her straight into the arms of two men who have no intention of remaining here on Earth.
Keeping Dawn safe is the most important truth to Derechos and Storm as they try to finish their objective on her world. When she is almost killed by a pack of Kimil, they know they can’t wait any longer.
Her fury at being abducted is nothing compared to the threat she faces if she ever goes home again. But, forcing her to give up her dreams may cost them her love.

(Book 1, Claiming Destiny is currently $2.75, but only for a couple more days!!)

The entire series idea came to me late last year when everyone was talking about the Mayan calendar and the end of the world. We all woke up on December 21 and nothing had happened...there was no zombie apocalypse or Earth shattering asteroid hurtling towards us. Don't get me wrong, there was a part of me that breathed a sigh of relief. Not that I believed anything would happen...but I am wrong at times. LOL

But, it's that crazy author part of my brain that wondered...if the world didn't end what did happen?

What if a portal opened? Who came though? Where are they from? When were they here last? Why are they after the woman in our world? And most importantly...How many napkins to I have in my purse at the moment and it is enough to get all this written down? (I was sitting in a boring meeting at the time LOL)

These ancient warriors flooded my brain with their arrogant ways and sensual promises if I discovered who their Atans were, those women chosen by the gods for each pair of warriors. But how to attract hoards of woman to a remote part of New Mexico near the Pyramid mountains??? That is when they confided in me that part of their traditions is to attract their Atans by dancing for them. And WOW can these men dance. :)
They've made a temporary home in a club called Midnighter Seductions, (which happens to also hide the portal to their world.)

So if you're brave enough, come on down on ladies night, get yourself a "Frozen Orchid" and enjoy the show. But if you feel a tickle on the back of your neck like you're being watched, your world just might change forever.

Claiming Destiny  (Book 1)
Stealing Hope      (Book 2)
Corralling Dawn   (Book 3)

***Let's add a bit more excitement! At 11:59 Friday July 19th, I will choose a random name from everyone who comments on this post and they will receive one free copy of Stealing Hope.***
