Due to the fact that this week's Life With Baby Doll post contains adult language and themes, I am only posting a summary on this blog.  The full segment can be read in it's entirety on my Website at the following link: Life With Baby Doll:  Love is in the Air.
On Friday evening, before we left Cracker Barrel,  John and I had our waiter snap the above photo in front of the fireplace. I am surprised that it came out as well as it did, considering the fact that it was made in low light with a cell phone. The image is a reminder to us of the romantic evening that we shared, as well as the love and passionate tension that charged the air.
In this week's post, I am sharing details of the romantic evening between John and I on Friday night.
I enjoy hearing from all of my readers, and look forward to your e-mails. Remember Love is Love…Period.

Something Beautiful to be Published!

WARNING:  The links contained within this post will take you to sites with content for mature readers only.  However, this post is suitable for a PG audience.

Andrew K Kinley Social Media 4I am excited to announce that Siren-Bookstrand will publish my fifth book, Something Beautiful.  The expected release date is March, 2014.  Something Beautiful  is a continuation of my short story, Playboy28.   The book is a ManLove erotic romance.
Read the full synopsis below that accompanied my submission:
****
Transman, Reed Collins and his partner, Levon Kruger, an openly gay drummer for the heavy metal band Hardcore, have now been in a committed relationship for eight months. The pair is living at Levon’s home in Fayetteville, Arkansas as they continue to explore the love and passion that began in an online chat program a year ago. Recently, the pair defined that commitment as a marriage.
While on their honeymoon in Hot Springs, Avery Gaines walks into their lives in what he calls, “a chance meeting.” The couple is immediately attracted to the tall, dark-haired stranger, with deep green eyes. While Reed is the first to admit his love for Avery, Levon holds his emotions in check. Avery wants the trio to share not only love, but a commitment, and does not readily understand Levon’s reservations.
The romantic triangle will go through a period of conflict and turmoil, until Levon finally reveals a secret promise that he made to Reed, and how loving Avery would call into question the very foundation of the marriage he shares with his partner.
****
I’ve also created a Pinterest Board entitled, Something Beautiful Extras, that contains inspirational photos for the characters of this book.
I enjoy hearing from all of my readers, and look forward to your e-mails.  Remember Love is Love…Period.

Wednesday's Words for January 15, 2014

This past weekend the weather finally stumbled out of the deep freeze that most of us have been suffering through for far too many days. On Saturday, here, it was a balmy 46 degrees. But the slight wind kept us from feeling any warmth. Instead of just being cold, this past weekend we were cold and wet.

I think a good half of the snow we had here melted. But it didn’t really melt away. It pooled and became watery ice and then, overnight, it would harden again. The snow in our back yard is now ice-covered, which I don’t mind, necessarily. Tuffy, however, doesn’t care for it.

I should qualify that. He doesn’t like walking over it, but does like that the last few days have been milder. He’s been able to stay outside longer, allowing him to take complete olfactory inventory of every critter who, over the last couple of weeks, dared to enter his yard when he was tucked up safe and warm inside.

He’s a dog (no longer a puppy since he turned 1 on Christmas Day) who enjoys his front porch and his back yard. We did keep him in over the worst of the cold, not letting him out at all—not even for a minute. This meant making sure we had a pad down for him, which he used properly. But he’s little, and that wasn’t too bad an ordeal for either of us (him or me) to endure.

My dear husband returned to work on January 6, after being home for 17 straight days. Or I should say, he tried to return to work. They worked a half day on Monday, and then were sent home upon arrival on Tuesday, because of the bitter cold. Quarry work is outside work and company policy does cite the lowest temperature for working. The temperatures here were below that.

Thank God Wednesday turned out to be a full day on the job for him. Murder was therefore, fortunately, averted.

It’s amazing, in a way, how quickly I was spoiled by two previous winters that only had a couple of minor cold snaps, and snow that kept melting away completely. It’s been a lot of years since we had snow that came in early December and stayed. I think I’ve lost my immunity to the weather that I used to have. Going outside every morning to take David to work, and then again to pick him up in the afternoon had me used to being out in the snow and ice. Now, I only venture out Thursday afternoons to bring him home. Sometimes not even that. When it’s been a couple of weeks since I made that trek to the next county, I’m always shocked at the progression of the season.

The very poor condition of some of our roads these last few days has been another shock. In some areas the plows hadn’t done a very good job; in others, they were too enthusiastic, and left potholes behind to prove it.

One result of that ice storm that we had here in Southern Ontario a few days before Christmas was that within a day of it, there was no safety salt left to be had at any of the stores. In fact, we were unable get any as late as yesterday. The manager of our local grocery store said salt was en route, on Sunday. We’re still waiting. In the interim, I mostly stayed inside the house. I’m at the point in my life where falls are to be avoided at all costs.

Monday, my eleven year old grandson came over with his sister, and he took a shovel and cleared the ice from my walkway. He’s growing up to be a good little man.

Most people are lamenting about how long this winter has seemed already. We have, potentially, two months of the season left to go. In this area of life only, I take a pessimistic view, and I believe that view actually leads to an optimistic outlook.

Most people cling to that outdated tenet that winter “officially” begins on December 20th or 21st, depending. Not me. October first, baby. That is the first day of winter in my book, and it doesn’t stay here in my part of Canada for a paltry three months. No siree, it’s ours for half a year.

And by that reckoning, we are already nearly two-thirds done with the bitch. Ground Hog Day is in just 18 days. It’s just about time to celebrate.

Love,
Morgan

Angelic Forecast ~ #280

"Where on Earth?" I ask, confused. I don't believe it's the Egyptian pyramids.

"Central America, as the region is called now. However, the area of land was far larger than in these times," Dhuroth answers, rocking me in his embrace.

"No monkeys," I say as the 'knowing' hits.

"No, my one woman, there were no monkeys in that region. We did not allow them." My lion man chuckles in a deep rumble, as if it's our inside joke.

As it clicks inside my mind, I say, "The monkeys were used against us by enemies."

"Yes." Dhuroth holds me closer against his fine, fine huge frame. "The Dark Ones trained them to spy, and to cause constant mischief. When the havoc increased, we and others, trained our dogs to chase them."

Glimpses of that 'past' briefly race through my mind. "It became a sport... chasing the monkeys out of our lands."

"Indeed, my woman. It could be compared to fox hunting. Although, the monkeys were rarely harmed. Only when they attacked the dogs," my lion man adds.

He nuzzles my ear, and I melt against him.

"Yes... I am remembering. The worst was when those little demons leaped on my head, pulling my hair, tangling themselves in the strands."

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

The Great Intention of Humanity Wings Higher ... as massive CHANGES tsunami worldwide... now, the uniqueness of Self soars.

Out of this, the world continues to be born anew. For, LOVE blooms, grows within each individual. This is the world's real salvation... EACH ONE of us as loving, caring beings.

On the magickal, mystical front, this week the 'Mages of Ages Lost' vigorously swing their lightblades, cutting through the thinning layers of conjured, black-art's magick. With more universal light shining though, humankind AWAKENS ever-faster.

Further, the activation of 'some, not all' spiritual-psychic powers have been delayed for the past year. This, because of the interference of electronic mind-control devices. However, the GOOD FORCES will be circumventing much of this sinister attack by the dark-side controllers.

On the personal front, riding the super waves, this will likely be true for many as life speeds up, and the CHANGES accelerate all around us. As well, on the down to earth side, monetary concerns could be front and center.

Looking for new ways to do things, and searching out new opportunities, is the best course of action. For some, this will be setting up ways to trade and barter goods and services with each other, and within their communities.

On the paranormal front, the paranormal-supernatural world takes another hyper-jump into the AWARENESS of humanity this week. Be prepared for more high-strangeness events.

Also, even with the ever-growing reported sightings of UFOs, larger events are about to take place, especially as the summer season approaches. The mother ships, and other crafts, will be showing themselves off more frequently. This, from both the good-side ETs, and other benevolent races on planet -- and from the UN-BENEVOLENTS.

For, the war in the heavens takes another significant turn... DISCLOSURE via sightings across the planet is HERE. This is happening because, overall, world governments have failed to fully inform, or prepare their people.

Meanwhile, Big Foot-Sasquatch continues coming out of the woods. The time of secrets is over on Earth. For, TRUTH stands as the guardian to the Aquarian Age.

On the truth front, the firestorm backlash is here against corruption, against the anti-human elite. The more hidden TRUTHs are released through alternative media, the more activism will burn and fiercely rise like a great flock of infuriated phoenixes.

This week there will be a major TRUTH event revealed. This will rock many of us down to our souls -- those of us who are paying attention.

On the AWAKENING front, another HUGE week ahead with non-stop REVELATIONS about how to take spiritual control of your life. Because of this the psychopathic Viper controllers will use a myriad of distractions.

This will include more celebrity nonsense, false political debates, extreme weather, and will likely include the horrors happening in the various war theaters. However, INTENTION, the will of humanity to bring forth paradise on Earth, surfaces ever stronger. And becomes more real.

Life With Baby Doll: Love Remains

WARNING:  The links contained within this post will take you to sites with content for mature readers only.  However, this post is suitable for a PG audience.

Kiss at the Urge / 20091129.SD850IS.03533.P1.L1.SQ.BW / SML
This past week, I received an e-mail from a reader in response to my Life With Baby Doll series that carried a different tone.  To date, a large portion of my fan mail is directly related to this series. I never expected that what began as a husband’s way of coping with the uncertainty of his partner’s health would end up being the most read series on my Website.  For that, John and I want to say thank you to all of my readers. While I’ve received many e-mails of support in regards to the intense and passionate love affair that I share with John Jericho,  I have been waiting for more of the almost certain negative messages to arrive.  However, sometimes even within the most negative of thoughts, something positive can always be found.
I’m not sharing the e-mail verbatim, due to the plethora of adult language and hateful slurs, but I will give a general idea of the intended meaning.  I was chastised by a reader for writing a series that he felt  did not represent a realistic lifestyle between two male counterparts.  In a direct quote:
“A relationship can’t always be wine and roses, Andrew!  Please come back down to reality!”
Usually, I don’t respond to e-mails of this kind, however I did reply to this one.  I thanked the reader  for taking the time to e-mail me.  I also invited him to read my next Life With Baby Doll post on Sunday.  After much thought, I told him my post would be titled, Love Remains.
For the remainder of the week, I tried to put myself into the shoes of this reader.  Perhaps, he hasn’t read the series from the beginning.  Maybe he missed the post where I described John’s chronic conditions that have plague him since 2000, followed by new medical diagnoses since early 2013.   He might be a man who was hurt by someone that he loved deeply, and my posts reminded him of that pain.  If that’s the case, I am truly sorry. A final scenario that ran through my mind, was that this reader was just frustrated with his own life from circumstances that may have been beyond his control.
Whatever the reason for the e-mail, I am writing this message for him and for anyone who has ever felt sorrow, pain, or uncertainly in their life.  Two important messages from the Life With Baby Doll series are that love is love between two souls, and that love remains regardless of one’s life circumstances.
I want to say to Nathan, the man who wrote me the e-mail, that you’re right, relationships can’t always be, “wine and roses,“ but love does remain. I do sincerely hope that you get a chance to read the links to the previous posts that I have included within the body of this post.  For those who follow the Life With Baby Doll series, I frequently make references to previous installments in the series for the benefit of those who may be just beginning to follow my writing.
John and I met in August of 1991.  The life and love we share has spanned twenty-two years.  A great deal had changed not only in the world around us, but in our own lives.  Together we have climbed many mountains, walked through countless fires, and have seen situations where mercy was only granted to us in the final hours of despair.  Above all we’ve tried to hold onto faith, hope, and love.  I can say without a doubt, that after all these years love remains.
While we had many heartaches, John’s recent illness will always remain one of the most poignant, yet meaningful periods in our relationship. I’ve made the statement before:  “What does one soul say when they owe another person everything?”  John rescued a young man who was suicidal, depressed, angry, and full of self-pity.  Baby Doll softened my heart with his love.  So this past summer, I had no second thoughts about taking care of him.
“His doctor’s are not sure, but theorize that the auto-immune disorder was responsible for reducing his kidney function to less than sixty-percent this summer.  As a result, he had to undergo hemodialysis four days per week.  Also in June, he developed a severe mouth infection, believed to be a rare side effect of the nephrology drugs he was taking.  John had to have all of his teeth extracted and started to wear his new dentures in late October.  During this time, his eye sight began to fail as cataracts in both eyes had reached stage 4.” ~ Excerpt taken from Life With Baby Doll:  A Gay Man’s Love Runs Deeper, November 23, 2013.
One night in early May, 2013, I had woken and John wasn’t in bed next to me.  I found him curled on the bathroom floor shaking and nauseous.  The doctors had given us a list of theorized symptoms as a guide.  We experienced those as a couple, as well as a few that were not mentioned.  I brought him a pillow and covered his body with a blanket.  Dawn came as we laid together on the tile.
As I watched my partner grow sicker, I would remember lying awake many nights watching him sleep.  Even though he was cuddled in my arms, I would still make sure that he was breathing. My biggest fear was that I would fall asleep and he wouldn’t wake up the next morning.  Being the dominant man that I am, I believed that somehow I could keep him alive by that simple ritual.
For the next four months, we didn’t make love. John was simply too sick. The decision was an unspoken one between us.  Many nights, we would go to bed long before our regular bedtime and I would hold him in my arms. He needed my strength, reassurance, and comfort.  Sometimes we would spend as much as two hours lying in the dark, quiet in each other’s arms. We are making love again, and the bond that we share during those connections feels all the more sweeter because of the relationship that we have built during the times we couldn’t be intimate.
While I do believe that Baby Doll is on the road to recovery with his kidneys (barring another flare), his dental heath, and vision, he still suffers from the chronic conditions of the auto-immune disorder and nerve damage.  This week, he suffered a flair of the latter. As I held him close last night, I found myself falling in love with him once more.
“I’m right here if you  need me,”  I spoke, rolling onto my side facing John.

“I know.  I love you, Andrew.”

I twined our hands between us.  In placing a kiss on Baby Doll’s fingers, I also captured his lips with my own.  The kiss, while tender, was also laced with undertones of sensuality and eroticism.

“I love you,”  I whispered, releasing his lips for a brief moment. “Now open your eyes, Baby Boy.”

When John’s eyes opened, I made sure that my stare gave proof that our love remained.
The Life With Baby Doll series, while keeping with my writing theme of gay men in real situations of life and love, is also an unended love letter to my partner.
To learn more about this series and find a recent list of archives visit: Life With Baby Doll. More will be added, as I continue to update my new Website. Due to the increasing popularity of these posts, I have created the permanent tab on my Website that contains information concerning the intense and passionate love affair that I share with my partner, John Jericho.
I enjoy hearing from all of my readers, and look forward to your e-mails. Remember Love is Love…Period.

Wednesday's Words for January 8, 2014

I grew up out in “the sticks”. The stretch of road that was our own had begun its life in the 1800s as a corduroy road, part of a stage coach route stretching north from Hamilton Harbor, toward the city of Guelph. In the 1950s and early 1960s, vehicular traffic on this road remained somewhat sparse, nearly non-existent. Not many people traveled past us, because our old stage coach route had been supplanted by a nice new provincial highway which was a more direct route. No one came down our road unless they were visiting someone who lived on it. Or at least, that’s how it seemed.

We lost my dad when I was about eight and a half. He’d been at home recovering from a heart attack, and succumbed to a sudden stroke. He was only in his mid forties.

After that, life wasn’t much fun for me. He’d been the parent who paid close attention, the one who would play and hand out hugs at every turn. My brother and sister, at 18 and 14, had their own lives, and my mother had her grief, an interloper who took up residence in our home and never left. There weren’t too many “kids” my age in my neck of the woods, except two girls, one of whom I really wasn’t supposed to play with (a mystery to this day).

And then, when I was 10, two very interesting things happened. I got a paper route; and a family moved in two doors down from us, and I met my new best friend. I discovered that we had been born 8 days apart! And, she shared her birthday with a half-brother and sister, twins who had been her birthday present from her mother and step-father when she was 6.

This family was different from any other I’d ever encountered: a single mother, with five children! In my insulated world, I’d never heard of a family that didn’t have a dad, where the dad hadn’t died (as in my case). In time I learned that my friend’s mother was now separated from her step-dad, and had been divorced from her real dad. I couldn’t imagine what that might be like, because, of course, my family still bled from the too-early loss of ours.

We became good friends, she and I, and I spent a lot of time at her house. Her siblings became like my own, in many ways. I can close my eyes and see the times I slept over there, the times we all spent together. We played Canasta and Shanghai, and a board game called Shoe-buck.

She told me not that long ago that her mother, while doing the best she could, had never taken her anywhere. The only time she’d ever gone anywhere as a kid, had been with me and my mom.

A few years after my marriage and hers, for a long time, we lost touch. Life changes you and you respond to it sometimes by closing others out. We did that, my beloved and I, when the raising of the kids got really hard, when our middle child, so troubled and troubling, took all of our energy and drained most of our hope.

We re-connected again, my friend and I, about five years ago. But in the interval, I did visit her mother from time to time. Her youngest sister, who had shared her birthday, had built a house on her mother’s land, and so was close by and able to see to her needs. A visit to the older woman, often entailed a visit with the younger.

Life continued to throw challenges, as life will. My friend had already lost her first husband during that time we were apart. We lost our son. Her mother passed, sadly, when we were out of the country and I didn’t learn of it until much later. And then, just about sixteen months ago, my friend lost her second husband, a man she calls her true soul mate.

Not many months after that, I learned her little sister had cancer. This was a woman who shone, inside and out. She loved, and was loved. She’d met her own soul mate—the man who had purchased our house, that one just a few doors down from hers.

This past weekend, my friend’s baby sister was called home. It always seems wrong, somehow, to lose those who are younger than us—and yes, to a certain extent, to lose those we sometimes feel are better than us.

Loss is never easy, and oftentimes the echoes of that loss become embedded in the rhythm of our lives. I try to remember the love and the joy and the laughter that I shared with those I lose. We all of us live, and we touch the lives and the hearts of other people. Those touches become a part of that person, a tiny atom of the person they grow into being.

Those moments are eternal, and it is those moments we seek to hold close when trying to find comfort for ourselves and others in our bereavement.

My friend wished her little sister to fly with the angels; I have no doubt, whatsoever, that she is doing exactly that.

Love,
Morgan

Angelic Forecast ~ #279

As the foal accepts my presence, I softly run my hand along his small neck, then stroke his tiny back. Long moments later, we nuzzle each other. His soft blowing breaths warm my cheeks.

Knowing his mother is becoming anxious, I step back. "What breed is he?" I ask, as I lean back into my lion man's embrace.

"He is a breed you helped to design on Earth. Two ages ago, my beloved one."

"Two ages," I murmur. Letting my mind wander, I watch the images of that time begin to form.

"Such a different time on Earth," I say, as I observe giant, verdant plant life that appears to be both tropical, and from a more moderate clime.

The flower blooms are huge and richly, beautifully colored. Not too far away, I see the white shining caps on the pyramids, the foliage too thick to see the entire structure.

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

The New Year, 2014, is a time of acceleration-elevation. For, the fourth dimension beckons.

Materialism bows to Spirituality for many of us during this numerology year of SEVEN. As we soar toward greater love, toward the greater power within us ALL, the higher vibrationality of ASCENSION tsunamis over the planet.

On the AWAKENING front, while the GRAND AWAKENING of humanity wings ever higher, the process will not be smooth -- arriving in jerks, starts, and beautiful waves.

From a 2012 forecast, this will now firestorm across the world: "At this point in history, 'reality' is in a state of severe flux, and the clash of the Titans is here. It is truly Good versus Evil. Soon, many who are living in a cocoon they label 'reality', will be cast into the streets of 'truth'. They will either join the Grand Awakening of humanity, or most likely perish."

On the land changes front, ACCELERATION: land rising and falling... sinkholes become monsterously deeper and larger... earthquakes shake, rattle, and roll the planet with ever-deepening quakes... constant superstorms rage across the globe... more devastating floods are likely in the Spring and Summer months... volcanic activity only heightens, especially on the sea floor.

Meanwhile, the fireballs quicken, streaking across skies worldwide... there will be an increase in asteroid strikes... and strange anomalies will continue in the heavens... as well, the ongoing BOOM phenomena will likely reach a crescendo during Summer 2014.

Also, the Great Lion Star, the sun, is going through major changes. That is, expanding and contracting while subtly altering overall composition and, thus,  frequencies. This will assist Mother Earth in her cyclic changes, and activate certain of humankind's lost genetics. This 'activation' revolves around spiritual and psychic abilities/powers.

On the magickal, mystical front, this week the 'Mages of Ages Lost' whirl their lightblades, savagely battling a new foul enemy loosed by the allies of the Viper magicians. This thick dark shroud of menacing energy is meant to drive the people into depression, and cause massive suicides.

However, much of this dark-side, demonic attack will be mitigated. It is wise to lift your spirits, let love lead the way, and persevere toward your goals.

On the personal front, contentious energies will rule the day for the next several months. This can be used to your advantage. Simply be AWARE these cosmic directives are pouring down. That, it will take some discipline and spiritual growth to navigate and come through this period of time.

Also, high-minded goals will work out best at this time. This, in balance with your daily mundane goals. For, life on planet Earth is interweaving the vibrations of mind, body, soul, and HEART, as never before.

Wednesday's Words for January 1, 2014

Happy New Year!

I find, that no matter what kind of a year I’ve had, I am hopeful on January 1st. I believe that I suffer from terminal optimism. Seriously, the glass to me is always half full.

And I don’t tolerate well those who seek to cure me of this attitude.

For the most part, my life is good. Now, by that do I mean that we have lots of money and stuff? No. We’re doing ok financially, but only after a life time of struggling in that area. I have a dream to buy a new house, something on one level, with a yard flat enough I can walk, and thus work on flower beds. But that is a dream—well, a goal, actually—and until it is achieved you can be certain that what I am living in now is no palace.

But it is ours, and it is paid for and it is home. It is my home, and I love it. Life is good.

I have two surviving children, six surviving grandchildren—having lost one of each—and this past year I became a great-grandmother. I see some of them often and others not as often as I would like. But there are no major upheavals, no major animosities, none of the grandchildren are in trouble with the law, though a couple of them could stand a good swift kick in the ambition. But all in all, they’re good people (the oldest three are over 18 so they’re not children), with loving hearts. Life is good.

I and my brother are the sole survivors of my birth family. He was the eldest of the three of us, and I the youngest. Our parents died young, 46 for my dad, and 57 for my mom. We—my brother and I both—had it in our heads for a lot of years that we wouldn’t live long. Our father’s father passed when he was only 36 and our mother’s mother was but in her 40s. In our entire gene pool, only the family of my father’s mother had longevity as a component. Now here we are, I will be 60 and he 70 this coming July. Added to this, we get along fairly well and see each other on a fairly regular basis. Life is good.

I have been married for 41 and a half years to the same man. He’s not perfect, but then, neither am I. He does some things that really get me hot, and no, not in a good way. I, of course, return the favor. But here we are, still together, friends, mates, not always in agreement one with the other, but always there for each other. Life is good.

At a time in life when most people settle for hobbies and minor interests to keep them occupied after having survived major health challenges, I have a thriving, wonderful career. This coming February will see the publication of my 37th book. Not bad, considering my first came out in 2007.

This career has given me friends, and colleagues, every one of whom has enriched my life. I have written books, and my readers have written notes to let me know that my words, and my “town” have touched them and made their lives just a little bit better. They have given me many times over the joy they claim to receive from me. Every day is a good day, because I am never alone, never lonely, and always eager to see what might come next.

Life is indeed very good, and I am blessed, and highly favored!

I wish everyone a heart full of optimism, and a New Year that is ripe and rippling with new beginnings and wonderful opportunities.

Love,
Morgan
