The Winning Virgin Series is an old favorite among readers of vampire-paranormals

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Winning Virgin Blood, Book One
Siren Classic: Erotic Paranormal Romance, Vampire]

Las Vegas lures in those with a taste for temptation. If the allure of easy money is craved, there's no better place to be than Sin City.

Orlando Spenser discovers all that glitters is not gold when he loses a substantial amount of his family's fortune. He returns home with a broken spirit, only to discover his kinsmen have decided to send him back to the very place where he almost lost everything. He will return with one goal--to find a suitable mate.

When Orlando returns to the desert and locates his ideal life partner, he must convince her to return to his family estate in Scotland. The task won't be a simple one for the vampire who knows better than anyone that Las Vegas wasn't built on winners and even when Lady Luck falls in his lap, he quickly discovers she is anything but agreeable.

Winning Virgin Love, Book Two

It's time for another vampire bride and three sexy-hot rogues are ready to give one beautiful vixen an erotic ceremony she'll never forget.

Almonzo Spenser's lifemate is living under his roof. Not only is Tabitha pure hell in a short skirt but she also has some very dangerous secrets. Almonzo isn't surprised when he finally discovers the woman he's chosen for his life partner has a deep connection with a very dangerous clan of vampires.

Darian Sabbat is a vampire with mobster connections. He's created a designer drug that will completely wipe away generations of vampires using the blood of one of their own.

To make matters worse, Darian joins a ménage a quatre ceremony that includes one of his most hated enemies and the lovely Tabitha whom he desperately wants to take and mark as his own.

Winning Virgin Lust, Book Three

It's the morning after a sexual romp and Constance Spenser wakes up with more than a headache. Since she doesn't seem to know who she is or where she belongs, Sebastian Sabbat buys into the old adage of finders keepers and that's just his first mistake.

The Sabbats and the Spensers aren't friends and when two of their own join for unconventional purposes, the families aren't exactly pleased. Add in a little brotherly love and a threesome guarantees Constance will soon be tied to more than just one Sabbat. Gabriel Sabbat will join his brother and Constance in a very accepted vampire ceremony, but when Darian Sabbat realizes Constance has her hooks in Sebastian and Gabriel, he makes a quick decision.

Darian knows he can't trust his brothers now that Constance wants their undivided attention. In a bold move, he takes the initiative to secure the future of his family and he has a little insurance to ensure the Spensers stay out of his way.

Winning Virgin Promises, Book Four

[Ménage Amour: Erotic Paranormal Ménage a Quatre Romance, F/M/M/M, Sex Toys, Adultery]

Gabriel Sabbat is the secondary mate for Constance Spenser. He knows the feel of her skin, the touch of her hand, the true experience of her body. He participated in his brother's mating ceremony and he didn't walk away from the event unscathed. His heart is heavy and he is in love with a woman he may take as his own but there will be sacrifices, and consequences.

Constance belongs to Sebastian but she's never forgotten the time she spent with Gabriel. When Sebastian doesn't return home, news circulates and word travels fast. Sebastian is in trouble and he may not return to Scotland.

With time running out for Constance and the needs of a vampire mate quickly surfacing, Gabriel is called upon as a secondary and Constance isn't happy with the turn of events. In fact, she's out for more than a little blood to keep her alive. She's looking for answers and knows precisely where to find them. And when Sebastian returns home, he discovers quite a surprise.

Winning Virgin Devotion, Book Five

Ménage and More: Erotic Paranormal Multiple Partner Romance, M/F/M, with M/M, and ménage elements, Shape-shifters, Vampires

Arturo is a ghost from the past. His mother was a prostitute brought into a Spenser-Sabbat ménage situation, and the sensational scandal was more than anyone could handle. Hundreds of years later, Arturo stirs the very seas where his ashes were once scattered. And the Sabbats and Spensers prepare for his wrath.

NOTE: We recommend reading the Winning Virgin series in the order written.

Siren Publishing released Winning Virgin Love last Friday!

Siren Publishing released Winning Virgin Love last Friday!

Mondays and Fridays. Recently, I have so much to do on Mondays and Fridays that I’ve actually contemplated adding hours to each day.

I’m serious here. It can be done.

I’ve thought about combining Sunday with Monday and Thursday with Friday. Then, I could work straight through like there’s all the time in the world to accomplish what needs to be accomplished on these two days.

Ultimately, that’s the only excuse I have for missing out on the opportunity to tell you about the new release of Winning Virgin Love! It was a busy-busy day but that’s not a legitimate excuse. Blogging should, by all means, come first on release day!

We did chat a lot on Friday. There were two chats actually—one at Siren and one over at my loop. Some might even agree we never stopped chatting. My loop has been nonstop action since Friday which has been pretty neat because we’ve met a lot of new members over there too.

With all the chit-chat here lately, I shouldn’t be surprised that I woke up this morning and felt a shift in things. No, I’m not talking about a shift in weight where everything settled into my padded backside.

I’m talking about an ‘inner shift’—you know, change in mood. I ‘felt it’ in my bones, even though there's a lot to write, deadlines galore and a short time to get everything finished if I want to be ‘on-time’ (and who likes to be late or behind?). Anyway, this morning, I woke up drawing a blank.

My son came in my room early, just like he always does before he leaves for school and he said, “So, what are you going to do today?” This is the same question he will ask every morning and I generally give him the same answer—“Write. What are you going to do after school?”

Today, it was different.

He said, “So what are you going to do today?”

I said, “Hmmm…I don’t know.”

(And I realized my answer immediately tossed him a curve ball)

“What do you mean, you don’t know?” He asked with a frown.

I said, “I don’t know. For the first morning in a long time, I honestly don’t know. I can’t think of what I want to write because I can’t think of one thing I want to say today.”

He said, “Oh.”

(At this point he immediately jumped up and sprinted to the kitchen to find my husband)

And I hear him:

He said, “Dad, Mom is sick. I don’t know if it’s depression or the flu but she is sick.”

My husband said, “What’s wrong with her?”

(Not at all concerned, I might add)

He said, “I asked her what she was going to do today and she said, ‘she didn’t have anything to say’ today.”

My husband said, “Son, I’ve been married to your mother for 18 years. If she doesn’t have anything to say, she’s not only sick, she’s on her deathbed. Call 9-1-1.”

So, I’m motivated again. It didn't take much.

I’m going to start a new book today and write my husband into the plot. Unless he changes my mind before six o’clock tonight, I’ll have wild women chasing him through the prairie with tomahawks. Wait, he might like that. Never mind.

Actually, today I’m working on several different things and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. I just finished another edit on Winning Virgin Lust and it is coming soon to the new Ménage Amour Collection at Siren so that’s exciting. There’s news to note here too—I am T-totally in love with Gabriel Sabbat in Winning Virgin Lust.

For those of you who know me, Almonzo is ‘my hero’. He’s the sexy rogue in Winning Virgin Love and I pretty much tried to write him “perfectly flawless even with his flaws”. Now, I’m trying to do the same thing with Gabriel and I’ve decided to leave it alone—everyone will probably love him because he is simply bad-boy rotten. You’ll have to read Winning Virgin Lust to find out more.

Winning Virgin Love surprised me. It’s on the best seller list right now at Siren and ladies and gentleman, if you look at this best seller list, you’ll see why I’m not only honored to be on it but completely giddy. The list is packed with very talented Siren/BookStrand authors.

Today, vampires are going to the backburner though and the focus is going to be on athletes and cowboys. Yes, I’m back to that. After my husband’s little remark earlier, I’m going to churn out a hefty word count somewhere and then print out a few pages to leave at his dinner plate, along with that tomahawk. He’ll get the hint.

I’m really in the mood to write more about Gabriel. This alpha-male is hell-hot. When I first finished Winning Virgin Lust, I had to go ahead and write the first chapter of the next one because he more or less commanded it. Writers, you know what I’m talking about. Those imaginary friends of ours will often demand more of our attention than our teenagers.

I’ll resist the temptation to tell you more. I’ll wait to hear what you think about him in Winning Virgin Lust first (which is coming soon—did I tell you that?)

In the meantime, I really hope you’ll check out Winning Virgin Love. Tabitha (the heroine) is a little wishy-washy but everyone who reads her, really loves her spunk (even though her personality leaves her somewhat volatile). And then there’s Almonzo, love his heart, I wish this vampire would come to life in my world. Then, my husband would never have to worry about seeing me on my deathbed again—unless of course, Almonzo (or Gabriel) carried me there!

Oh, and by the way, I have a new promo pack full of excerpts from all of my books and novellas from Siren/BookStrand (RTF file) so if you’d like to receive it, check out my website and leave a comment at www.destinyblaine.com. Make sure to request it in your comment and include your email addy so I can send it to you! There are new excerpts for Winning Virgin Blood, Winning Virgin Love, A Matter Among Men, and Love, Lust and Scandal in Professional Football.

Also, while you’re there at the website, check out the link for the Australian Romance Readers Convention and check out the countdown to convention. I’m booked for the February convention and I was invited to sit on one of the author panels so that’s really neat.

I just found out I may ‘work’ on a casino-related article while I’m there too which means I may get to stay in Melbourne for a few extra days after the convention. If you’re a Melbourne resident, let me hear from you so you can tell me about the best book ‘dives’ in town.

Finally, I want to mention my recent purchases. Let’s see here, I just bought Lara Santiago’s Menagerie, Jenny Penn’s Patton’s Way, and Samantha Cruise’s Devil’s Pact. For those of you who don’t know, I have a HUGE file of TBR books and a very long TBB wish-list. This is what happens when you’re a Siren/BookStrand author!

I’m off to go write! There’s a lot of misbehaving left to do now that I’m rejuvenated. My husband truly knew exactly the right thing to say to get my creative juices flowing and he’s about to become my next hero!

Until next time,

Destiny
