The Romance Studio reviews Tango Trio!

Yesterday I received an email that Clare at The Romance Studio had posted a review of Tango Trio. She gave it 4 1/2 hearts and since it was my birthday, I couldn't have asked for a better gift! Thanks so much Clare! Here's what she had to say:
When Tessa begins having dreams about her best friend Parker and a mysterious stranger, she welcomes the erotic adventure. Soon she finds out she's part of a bonded trio, a group of predestined soul mates. Once she and Parker meet Jared, a soldier-turned-dance instructor, in the flesh, their bond takes on psychic proportions. Their bond gives them the ability to communicate telepathically, but it also sets them up as targets for people who want to use their blood as a street drug called ‘Path. Soon, they find themselves the target of merciless drug dealers, the leader of which is no stranger to Tessa.
Tango Trio is a rollercoaster of action. From the first mouthwatering dream sequence to the last scene that'll leave the reader with something to dream about, it's one hot, exciting story. Ms. Leaf doesn't fool around with a slow build. She dives right in and leaves you breathless. Parker leaps from the page, a dynamic stud in tight jeans, and his chemistry with Tessa fairly burns. When Jared's character is added, watch out.
Once the trio is formed, the real action of the story begins. The bonding makes for an incredibly close and sexually-charged relationship, but it also paints a bright red bull's-eye on them. Their blood forms a powerful, addictive drug that fetches top dollar on the open market. Even clandestine government groups are taking notice. While Tango Trio can be read alone, it's the second in Ms. Leaf's Dream Marked series, and I highly recommend reading the first to understand and appreciate the background of the bad guys.
Ms. Leaf is a wonderfully talented writer with a fun, easy style. Overall, Tango Trio is an action-packed must-read that's so full of paranormal twists and turns you'll never see what's coming next. I can't wait for the next installment!

Wednesday's Words for November 30, 2011

Like most people, I get spam e-mail nearly every day, and that really isn’t a problem, because, of course, ‘delete’ is an option I exercise on a regular basis. But lately there have been some e-mails that have just made me shake my head in wonder – and not the good kind of wonder, either.

In the subject line, these e-mails read: “Secretly watch your kids, your spouse, your boyfriend or girlfriend...”

Seriously? Is this what our society has devolved into? Are we all a bunch of frightened, paranoid, voyeurs, spying on our loved ones?

Those spam mails are designed to sell a product, and it occurs to me they must work some of the time as they keep coming. I doubt even the most optimistic entrepreneur would continue to incur the expense and trouble of creating and sending them if they didn’t.

Because I’m curious, I checked out the link to a web site that was contained in one of these missives.

Now, here I’ll digress for just a moment. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a secret agent. My favorite program on TV was “Man From U.N.C.L.E.” (yes, I still remember it stands for United Network Command for Law Enforcement.) For Christmas when I turned 11 my big brother got me the Multi-Pistol 09, which had a bazooka that took caps, and a derringer that fit in the handle, to name the two features I remember off the top of my head. I googled it, by the way, and there’s actually a you-tube video on that gun!

I mention this bit of trivia that in all likelihood you couldn’t care less about because, when I went to the web site promoted by this spam mail, I felt the ghost of that old career ambition tremble with excitement.

Did you know you can get a car key chain with a built in hidden video recorder/camera? Or, shades of Dick Tracy, a waterproof DVR spy camera watch?
I had no idea that lack of trust in our modern society had spawned such an in-depth technological industry!

This web site offered video baby monitors, and I think that’s a wonderful idea. I can also understand having the odd hidden camera if you have outside contractors coming into your house to do work.

Not sure I go for the rest of the concept, which basically is (in my words) violate the trust of your loved ones by spying on them to see what they’re doing when you’re not there.

Would you do it, if you could? Would you spy on your spouse, or family members, to see what they were up to?

I understand the temptation to peek in on your kids—not just the babies but the older ones; perhaps of all the personal relationships mentioned, this is the one that’s different, simply because it does involve our children.

I can understand those parents who may search through their kids’ drawers, motivated by fear: they’re afraid their kids are using drugs or are sexually active, or may even be concerned their children are stealing.

We’ve all seen horrific cases in the past couple of decades of kids who’ve become violent, and committed crimes. When the police searched, it was to discover these kids had weapons in their rooms, and we all wondered, “Where were the parents?”

You want to trust your children, but they are children, not yet in full possession
of the ability to make good decisions. Too, as the parent you’re responsible for them. If your minor child, for example, commits a crime that demands reparations be paid, you the parent can be held financially responsible for those reparations.
So I get that, in a way. Do I think that kids have a right to privacy? Yes, but not the full slate of privacy that adults enjoy.

But I don’t understand why anyone would want to spy on someone they’ve supposedly got a relationship with—a wife, a husband, or a lover.

Because trust is definitely a two way street, and when you spy on your loved one, then you’ve already broken that trust.

And in my book? You’ve broken it beyond all repair.

Love,
Morgan

Angelic Forecast ~ #169

“There is a time travel project being developed to recover ancient seeds we no longer possess.”

“Planning to raid the...” I stop as his eyes gleam with the answer I seek. “You have already raided the global seed vault in Norway... haven’t you?”

He gives me a smug smile of great satisfaction. “We have. And many other seed vaults most of the people on Earth know nothing about.”

It takes me a moment, then I snark, “Yeah, like that’s a big fat surprise. Given they’re psychopaths, I hardly expect anything else from the global elite.”

“True. There are also a few alien groups who are collecting such seeds. One for the benefit for humanity. The others to save the bounty of Earth, and to benefit their homeworlds.”

On a musing whim, I say, “Seed, the coin of the intergalactic realm.” Besides, it seems so plausible...in a way.

“Seed is one coin of galactic trade, as you say. Especially for those peoples who value natural foods instead of nutrition composed of chemicals.”

“Chemical nutrition never works, does it?”

With a flourish Dhuroth presents what looks like a plump cherry tomato. I lean forward accepting it from his fingertips with my lips. Flavors of tomato and a sweeter fruit like peach fill my mouth, and I savor chewing slowly.

“No. Not for any length of time. As an emergency measure it is good. However, vitality can only be gained in relationship to the land, and when the food is grown on that land. This is especially true for successive generations, and for those of us who enjoy a long life.”

Dhuroth pops one of the fruits into his mouth and relishes. And I relish observing my lion man.

“It’s a matter of subtle energies, right?” I ask, then pluck up one of the fruits, and savor once again.

“Yes, the divine lives with far more potence in the natural world rather than inside a test tube or mixing vat.”

My philosophical side takes over. So, I say, “It’s a dance of energies. Life lives in the dance of energies. The constant dance. If we were dancing... there would be an exchange of -- of passionate energies.”

With a large lion-satisfied smile, Dhuroth nods. “So it is. And it is why dancing between a man and his woman is vital. Dancing together gives renewed vitality to their love for each other.”

I pause in thought, and try to chase down memories of our past life together. Yet, I draw a blank. Still, there is a sense of... “Did we dance a lot together?”

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

For the following week, the theme is ‘home is where the heart is’. Now is the perfect time to explore what ‘home’ really means to you. This is also an ideal time to search for another home if there is a nudge from your Inner Guidance.
During the next three months, many people will be ‘moving’ to a different location that calls to their soul. Also, many people will be leaving their current relationships to form new relationships and new families. As well, some will return to the fold, as in returning to their families of origin.

This is due in part by the need to hunker down in this great time of turmoil. Metaphorically, the gloves are off now. And this has become a bare-knuckle world -- the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly. The more you are with others you trust, and who trust you, the better life will be for All.

Another major transitional shift will begin this week. This can be seen in the turbulent events that take place around the worldwide financial debacle. As the face of evil is further revealed, a mighty backlash against the ‘soulless ones’ will sweep across the globe like a raging tsunami.

There is likely to be a dramatic increase in earthquake activity for the next six months, and volcanic activity will follow. There are few safe areas because Mother Earth is changing her landscape. Also, super duper weapons are being used in weather and tectonic warfare in a battle to dominate the world.

Look for ‘more’ shocking events to unfold midweek. As well, from this point forward every excuse will be used to bring in a draconian and militaristic control over the people.

On the personal economic front, be aware the game has changed, and will continue to change at a rapid rate. The more you can remove you and your family from the system, the better off you will be in the long scheme of things. Banks will continue to fail, and some of them cannot be relied upon. Use your money wisely at this time, and plan for the future in a realistic manner.

Trendwise, seek out ways to celebrate the holiday season that are truly meaningful to you, and those you love. What has been is crashing down and coming to a quick end. For those of you not currently living in a rural community, now is the time to look at returning to a simpler and more sustainable way of living.

This week is all about taking advantage of good opportunities that come your way, especially if they include family and friends. This is also a magic time to find the right love partner.

Character sketches

That's the first question I ask when I sit down at my computer. I can't write a story if I don't know who my characters are: their history and motivations, what they look like, how they feel about themselves. I need character sketches before I can even begin to think about plot. I like to spend some time playing with my characters in my head: what happens to the heroine if I do this? Or that? How does hero #1 meet her? Does hero #1 know hero #2? Et cetera. I create scenes and populate them with my heroes and their lady. I try to put myself in their shoes (or leather jackets or pelts). It's a lot easier for me to figure out how the characters are going to react to conflict if I know who they are.

Recently I discovered Shelfari as I poked around Amazon, trying to figure out how other authors got those cool extras on their book pages. Since I already have character sketches typed out, I thought it might be fun to post them online. The sketches for Tango Trio's three main characters are up at Amazon and Shelfari, if you're curious.

The character sketches for Appassionato and The First Time is the Sweetest are also up. Check out Shelfari if you'd like to see them!

Nic's Black Friday Give Back

There are so many sales and deals this weekend, I will keep this short and sweet.
Order ANY of my books directly from this link: BOOKSTRAND - Nicole Morgan and I will donate 100% of my royalties to the Navy SEAL Legacy Foundation.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their family and friends. Please have a safe weekend and be THANKFUL for all you have in life! ~ Nic :)

*This promotion is good until Sunday, November 27th - 10:00a.m. MST

Save a tree (and your sanity!) - read an e-book!

Black Friday shopping. Holiday shopping in general. Insanity.

I personally think all three terms should be linked hand-in-hand. This year, instead of going nuts, go digital! Save a tree - read an e-book. E-book readers are now widely available for under $100, and make the perfect gift for family and kids. And now with so many people carrying iPhones, Androids, and other smart phones, and with iPads and other tablets, you don't even need an e-reader. You can read on the go, anywhere, with mobile apps from Kindle, nook, and others.

Give the gift of reading. Most larger publishers have gift certificates available that you can gift to the reader in your life. (Or when family asks you what you want, give them the urls to your favorite online book retailers!)

For those few people who still balk at e-readers, remember it's the words, not the medium, that makes a "book." E-readers have benefits such as flexible font, so if you have older eyes like me, you don't have to squint to read. You can carry waaaay more e-books on a small, lightweight device than you can dead-tree books. And e-books are ecologically more sound, saving precious natural resources from unnecessary destruction.

Best of all, you can shop in your PJs and never leave the house, not have to fight crazy shoppers, not have to loose sleep. You can stay home, eat your leftovers, snug and happy and best of all, finish your holiday shopping in minutes instead of weeks.

So save a tree - read an e-book!

Wednesday's Words for November 23, 2011

Someone once told me that the secret to achieving real, long lasting happiness was to live life with an attitude of gratitude.

Those were very wise words, and quite possibly the best advice I’ve ever received.

The truth is that every single one of us—no matter who we are, where we’re from, and no matter what life is throwing at us at any given moment—we all have things to be grateful for.

I know it can be hard to focus on the positives in our lives. I’ve had my share of hard times and tragedy. I’ve met grief and despair, desolation and want. But everyone has hard times and tragedies, because that really is the nature of life.

Bad things happen to everybody from time to time. But those bad things don’t come to stay, they come to pass. The difference between living with contentment and wallowing in discontent really is just attitude.

Sometimes, people feel powerless. There are things that happen to us, or that occur in our world that are completely outside of our control. Be we each of us have an amazing power within our grasp. We really do have the power to make lemonade out of lemons, to get up off the ground after we’ve been kicked down, and to smile in the face of failure.

We all have that power, and to exercise that power, all we have to do is choose to do so.

My American friends are about to celebrate their Thanksgiving, and that is a holiday that, as far I know, is only celebrated here in North America. We had ours in Canada last month, and our traditions are similar to yours, and stem from the same root.

We do have a lot to be thankful for here, in our two countries. Is life perfect? Heck, no. But seriously, neither are we.

I have a great life! I get to get up every morning and spend my time doing what I love most in the world to do. I get to create characters, and stories that many of you read, and some have even written to say you love. And, I get paid for it! How wonderful is that?

Because of this life and this career I have met a ton of amazing people, and I have the most awesome bffs in the world. Ladies, you know who you are. I love you with all my heart.

I am blessed, and highly favoured.

Someone I know said to me, not that long ago, that I was lucky to have my writing. And to a certain extent, that’s true. But nobody handed my career to me. Certainly, what talent I have is a gift from God. But making the talent grow and getting published, while luck did play a role, is primarily the outcome of a decision I made.

I chose to be an author, to do the work and to work hard. I came out of the hospital after a triple by-pass, barely able to move, with no job, and fewer prospects. I didn’t have a really good recovery. It took me nearly three years to get to where I was almost 100 per cent. I’m sure that no one would have blamed me if I’d thrown up my hands and said, “ok, life, you win. I quit.”

Well, no one but me...and the Lord.

I give thanks every single day for the blessings I’ve been given. And yes, by the way, that is the secret to achieving real, long lasting happiness.

May your Thanksgiving be full and rich, and may you be blessed to share it with the ones you love.

Love,
Morgan

Being detained at Her Majesty's pleasure does that to a person...

Since I'm a Brit I suppose it's only natural that I set my stories in England. With Silver Lining, released today by SirenBookStrand, in the spirit of international relations I've included a hunky American Investigative journalist in the lead role!

Lauren Miller, jailed for embezzlement, survives her sentence by plotting revenge against the man who put her there. Once released, she’s content to bide her time—until a contact is murdered and she becomes the prime suspect.

Nate Black, an American journalist, offers to help Lauren clear her name by trapping the mastermind behind her crimes in a daring sting operation. Thrown together, Lauren and Nate are drawn toward one another and make passionate love. But still, a vital question remains unanswered, driving a wedge between them.

What happened to the money she stole…

Here’s how Lauren reacts to her first sight of Nate.

As she approached the shack, she saw a strange man sitting on her doorstep, reading a book like he had every right in the world to be there. She slowed her pace, her heart hammering in her ears, and did a quick mental revision of the rules. Which one had she infringed this time? Being incarcerated at Her Majesty’s pleasure did that to a person.
Then the anger kicked in. She was free to do as she bloody well pleased, and having strangers foisted upon her did not please her one little bit.
“Who the hell are you,” she demanded belligerently, “and what are you doing on my property?”
The man stood up. He was tall, probably over six foot and well put together with thick brown hair falling across his face, a half-day’s growth of stubble on his chin and intelligent grey eyes. The sort of man a woman would look at twice. Well, any woman except Lauren, perhaps.
“Hi there,” he said, speaking in a soft American drawl. “You must be Lauren.”
Lauren froze. How had an American fetched up in her isolated spot in the forest, and more to the point, how did he know who she was?
“Not that it’s any of your business, but my name’s Louise,” she said shortly, playing for time whilst she tried to decide what to do.
“Hi, I’m Nate Black.” He took a step toward her and held out his hand, but she ignored it.
“Don’t come any closer.” She could hear the panic in her own voice. He obviously could, too, because he backed off, palms spread outward in a non-hostile gesture. “Right now, just get out of here before I set my dog on you.” Kermit obligingly growled but didn’t move from Lauren’s side.
“Hey, I don’t wanna bother you. I just hoped that we could have a chat. I tried to come and see you inside, but you wouldn’t send me a V.O.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” But Lauren could see that she wasn’t fooling him. This guy knew who she was, and she instinctively trusted him. But then she’d instinctively trusted a man before, and look where that had landed her. When it came to men, her instincts weren’t worth diddly-squat. She needed to shut herself away in the shack until this particular one got fed up with being blanked and legged it. Unfortunately, it didn’t look as though it was going to happen any time soon since he was still blocking her path to the door. “Just leave me alone, okay,” she said, trying to sidestep him.
“Look, I’m an investigative journalist, writing a book about miscarriages of justice, and I’d like to talk to you about what happened to you.”
It was pointless continuing to deny her identity, but that didn’t mean she had to talk to him. “There was no miscarriage of justice in my case. I was guilty. I’ve served my time,” she said, thinking that sounded like a line from a bad movie and, against all the odds, feeling a wild giggle building inside her. “I just want to be left alone.”
“I think there was more to it than that.” He smiled at her, and for the first time, Lauren actually considered talking to him. There was just something about him. Something in his expression that made her think he might understand what she’d been through. But no! She had nothing to say to him and made a fresh attempt to reach her door. Once again he blocked her path. “Part of my book will concentrate on women who commit crimes that are out of character, and the forces in their lives that compelled them to do it.”
Lauren stared at him. “Got your insurance up to date, have you?”
He blinked. “Sorry, I’m not with you.”
“Unsubstantiated written allegations are known as libel in the legal world, in case you didn’t know it, and people tend to get sued for that sort of thing.”
“They told me you were smart.”
“Don’t patronise me.”
“Hey, that’s not what I’m doing.” He smiled in an infuriatingly lazy manner that she found strangely disquieting. “And I don’t intend to publish anything that’s libellous. The book’s been commissioned by one of the big American publishing houses, and their legal team will make sure I don’t get carried away and cross that particular line. But, about your situation, you can’t substantiate your allegations about Williams on your own, but perhaps together we could—”
“How did you know I made any allegations about him?” she asked, her suspicions on high alert. “It was never made public.”
“I’m an investigative journalist,” he said, flashing a set of perfect white teeth, his air of total confidence almost, but not quite, compelling, “and I have sources you can only dream about.”
“This might upset your delicate male ego, but I really don’t give a damn.”
“You can’t fight powerful institutions on your own, Lauren,” he said. “But with the might of the press behind you, anything’s possible.”
“Just go away,” she said wearily, aware that she’d already said more than she’d intended to.
“Come on, Lauren, what have you got to lose by just chatting to me? I promise I won’t use anything you say without your prior knowledge and consent.”
Lauren rolled her eyes. “And when a man gives me his word, that’s supposed to make me feel better?”
“He really hurt you, didn’t he?”
The compassion in Nate’s eyes almost floored her. She could cope with just about anything life threw at her, expect sympathy.
“Just leave me alone.”
“If it’s any consolation, I know what you’re going through. My mom was thrown in jail back in the States for something she didn’t do. That’s why I gave up my column on the Sunday Inquirer to go and help her out.”
Lauren nodded without realizing she was doing so. She thought he looked vaguely familiar, and now she understood why. He’d written a popular column in the Inquirer for some years, doing exposés on the rich and famous, his picture accompanying his byline. “Did you get her off?” she asked, regretting showing any interest as soon as the words left her mouth.
“Yeah, eventually. The police thought she was an easy target so didn’t bother to look any further.” He paused to cock one eyebrow. “Sound familiar, does it?”
“Just go away and don’t come back. I’ve got nothing to say to you.”

Angelic Forecast ~ #168

Holding the dish close to me, he removes the lid, and I smell a buttery and pungent smell I recognize. “Martian?” I ask, curious.

“Originally they were bred on Earth. Once Mars was colonized we made many trips back to Earth gathering up as many of the sea creatures as we could find. We had developed a sea to propagate such life. Most of our efforts were successful. Now sea life flourishes here.”

Dhuroth chooses a scallop then dangles it close to my lips. Before he lets me take it from his fingertips, he teases me, a subtle but playful passion.

“Mmmm-mmm.” The scallop, the flavors fill my mouth, and my lion man looks pleased.

After several more of the plump buttery morsels, he leisurely reaches for another dish, and I notice the dogs along with Moon Dream are ensconced on large pillows, their gazes bright with hope for their share.

“This can be compared to a curried rice, my lovely Sh’raka. Spices are used heavily here. For taste and to improve health.”

“Grown on Mars? Is there a ‘silk road’ type of trade?” I slip my mouth around the spoon Dhuroth holds out to me, then watch him heartily eat a large spoonful. The flavor of curry and other potent spices explode inside my mouth. “Wow!” I utter once I’m able to say anything.

“Our spice trees and plants are grown all over Mars except for the southern pole area. Also, we trade with several other planets in our solar system. As well, there is an intergalactic trade cruiser from a nearby solar system we purchase from once a year. We do trade by portal. However, flavors and quality can be affected.”

My lion man feeds me another bite, and takes several himself, obviously hungry. “Want to know a secret?” he asks teasingly, then grins as if he rules the world.

I nod before taking another bite of the rich delicious food. My appetite is far greater than I would have believed. Maybe it’s being on Mars...?

“There is a time travel project being developed to recover ancient seeds we no longer possess.”

“Planning to raid the...” I stop as his eyes gleam with the answer I seek. “You have already raided the global seed vault in Norway... haven’t you?”

He gives me a smug smile of great satisfaction. “We have. And many other seed vaults most of the people on Earth know nothing about.”

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

For the following week chaos and rage will own the streets, and the entire world will appear to be falling apart. Simultaneously, a new spiritual nature emerges, and will be most recognizable at the grassroots level. This is because all those of good conscience are coming together to help each other, and work toward a greater Good for everyone.

This week, the fraud that has taken over the system will be your greatest enemy. Take heed to follow your own Inner Guidance. This is more crucial than ever when protecting yourself and those you love.

At this time, be aware that the rate of social change is accelerating. And like a herd of stampeding elephants anything in the way will be trampled. You have three choices: Fight it and be trampled. Step out of the way, and learn what it takes to survive and thrive. Or, three, leap astride an elephant and enjoy the wild ride.

Even though, the major events that take place during this Thanksgiving week will not be tame, the rise of the renegade spirit continues. Surprising new expressions of this rebellious spirit will occur, and grow throughout the year, 2012.

With the economic war between the global elite escalating this week, watch out for the ‘metaphorical’ dead bodies falling like Autumn leaves. For one thing, the world’s supply of available gold is nearly gone. That is, what has been sold on paper does not exist.

Once again, there will be odd happenings in the space program, and in space itself. Nothing will be told to the public except for misrepresentations and outright lies. However, as has been said before, the truth is out there. And will be leaked.

The most important thing about this week for all of us, is that old standby, LOVE. Whatever loving act you can do for someone who is ‘truly’ deserving... this will mean a better world for all of us, because the goodness will ripple outward forever.

Trendwise, this week of Thanksgiving encourages our gratitude. Search your heart to discover what you are most grateful for. This may ‘not’ be what is considered the ‘right thing’, or the popular things to be grateful for. However, what ultimately matters is that you find out what resonates as real and sincere gratitude.

This week when someone shows you kindness, let them know you are grateful. It’s all about spreading the universal love.

Sedona wonders if the stranger on a superspeed motorcycle is her savior from the brutal endtimes.

Ménage Amour: Erotic Cowboy Ménage Romance, F/M/M/M/M/M, BDSM, Multiple Partners, Suspense
Sydney has a problem with Bitch. The horse her father treasures more than gold is running loose and a blizzard is headed for Southwest Virginia. After spending the entire morning chasing the darn animal, she discovers she's probably not going to earn Cowgirl of the Year for her efforts. So what's a damsel in designer jeans to do? Call in reinforcements and fortunately, she knows where to find them.

The Donovan men are known for their good looks, alpha-male ways, and their skills behind stacks of hay bales. It's their skills that often keep Sydney up late at night, only she's just dreamed about them. She's never had the opportunity to act on them because her father's career often kept her on the move.

A blizzard strikes out and the Donovan brothers want to take the first step and make Sydney their own. Only first they'll have to reveal a torrid past and answer some tough questions about their family and Sydney's father. Soon, they discover their innocent little Sydney harbors several secrets of her own and from out of nowhere, a stranger rides in the storm with a surprise for the Donovan brothers.

Book Two: Cowboy Boots and Unfinished Business

Menage Amour: Erotic Cowboy Menage Romance, M/F/M/M/M, Multiple Partners, BDSM, sex toys

The Remingtons are faced with tremendous loss. Their father is gunned down in front of them and after the smoke clears, the only thing left is their need for revenge and their desire to protect those they love.

Leaving their lover in Italy, the Remington brothers return to Missouri with a plan to lure their enemies to their familiar homestead. Once there, they meet up with Veronica Leigh, an intelligent operative who seeks more than retribution for Wilson Remington’s death.

Veronica is in Missouri to discover a life she was never meant to lead. In the process, she finds a family she’s ready to claim for her very own, but in doing so, shares in their grief and heartache before she finds her way home.
