Wednesday's Words for July 27, 2011

Have you ever flown on an airplane? If you have—and I’d have to say that a lot of people probably have—you know that even before the flight takes off, the flight attendant goes through the procedures to be followed in case of an emergency.

Whether you board the plane in the United States, or Canada, or Europe; whether you fly Delta, Air Canada or British Airways; whether your flight will last one hour or many hours, these emergency instructions are given, without fail.

And without fail, those instructions are the same. When it comes to the most important part—the life-sustaining oxygen—the flight attendants will tell you to put on your own air mask before you help someone else with theirs. The principle at work here is simple: you can’t save someone else until you save yourself, first.

That is advice that should be given to everyone with regard to life in general, but especially to the mothers among us.

Mothers tend to do for others first and always. We feed others, if you will, before we even consider feeding ourselves. Even when we feel under the weather, our kids (and often times, they are our grown kids) look to us for their favorite pasta, or their favorite dessert, and we, being mothers, do everything we can to accommodate them.

The point of today’s essay is that it’s okay, sometimes, to say no.

We get so busy and are so intent on taking care of others we forget to take care of ourselves, first. We think putting ourselves and our needs first is selfish.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Just as, on a flight, we would need to secure our own air supply first, in life, we need to secure our own health and well being first if we truly want to be able to continue to take care of others. Ignoring our bodies’ needs for exercise, proper nutrition, sleep, and down time is not the way to ensure that we give our best to our families.

Of course, when our children are younger, we often do just that. No amount of reasoning with us is likely to get us to change our ways, either. Taking care of the kids is what we do, period.

But we moms have to recognize that there comes a point when we need to step back from the plate. When our children are no longer children, it is time for them to not only do for themselves, but hey, pay a little attention back to the ones who’ve given so much of themselves for so long.

When we reach our fifties, I believe it is good and wise and noble to begin to put ourselves first from time to time. We didn’t sacrifice for our children to earn a reward; we did it because we love them, and it is what moms do.

But the rewards are there regardless, and they need to be enjoyed. Probably one of the last lessons our children learn—and they don’t learn it until they’re well into adulthood—is that mothers are theirs forever, to love and appreciate and respect.

But mommies pass on the mantle of parenting to the next generation.

Morgan

New release: Two Mates for a Magistrate

Hi all. It's that special day again, Release Day - this time for book 3 of my Spirit Wolf series, Two Mates for a Magistrate.

For many centuries, Magistrate Wolfram Rozenstadt shouldered the burden of leadership alone, his only support his best friend, Klaus. But the pain of his people and the loss of lives strains his mind and soul until he is almost lost in his nightmares. Unexpectedly, a vision leads him to his two mates, Dietrich and Fritz, giving him hope.

Dietrich is a witch, having learned from a very young age to loathe the part of him that is a beast. But upon meeting Fritz, his control fails, and he is on the verge of becoming a monster. All the while, Fritz tries to grasp how in the world a relationship which seemed to show such promise turned into an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Wolfram comes to their aid, but an enemy is lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike. And this time, The Magistrate's power might not be enough to defeat the evil watching them.

Click me for spirit wolf goodness.

Don't forget book 4 is also available for pre-order. For those already familiar with the series, it is Paulie's story. More details, here.

Until the next blog, enjoy reading. I'll be waiting for your questions and comments.

Angelic Forecast ~ #151

My lion man gives me a slow devastating smile. I adore the glints in his eyes, and smile in return. “Currently, Phobos serves as a waystation and observes incoming traffic.” He pauses. “Disguised as moon, of course.”

“Disguised,” I parrot, once my voice returns, and I my brain clicks on again. “For primitive cultures just exploring space?”

“And, for far distant enemies who constantly send probes. There is a ruthless side to many intergalactic cultures. It is not all beneficent and loving, despite the Galactic Federation.”

“Yes. A constant discussion among UFO researchers and enthusiasts. Good aliens versus the bad aliens. Angels or demons. Or, similar to us. That is, like human beings.”

Suddenly, I notice large vines with hot pink blossoms seem to be following us. Even though, they twine ever closer, my steady trusty camel doesn’t seem fazed by the creeping foliage.

Amen-Dhuroth rumbles a chuckle, a knowing sound. “They are called Heart Followers, my Sh’raka.” He twists at the waist to regard me. As usual, I am mesmerized by the intensity, the sorcery of his gaze. Benign his expression, yet so powerful, I feel like a bird who has no desire to wing away, even if a giant lion is stalking me.

“Heart Followers?” I ask, and manage to tear my gaze away. No hardship, since the blooms are incomparably gorgeous.

“The vine only blooms when there is enough heart energy between a man a woman.” My Lion Man devours my face with his gaze. His camel sidles closer, and our thighs brush, the friction causing a lusty heat to radiate through me.

I ask the inane question that springs to the forefront of my mind. “How much heart energy?”

At that instant, a fragrance -- sweetly lush and bewitching -- gardenia mixed with rose -- spirals around me like a caressing breeze.

Moments later, I notice he has not answered. Instead, he holds one of the blossoms in his palm. The size of his hand, the flower unfurls slender velvety petals... all in delicious slow motion.

“Escape,” I whisper. “I wish I could escape to here forever.”

“You will, my woman.”

“But not now.” I speak long moments later. Our camels have halted. There is a soft wind ruffling my Lion Man’s magnificent mane of hair. “Not for far too long.”

“Yes, far too long.” He pauses. “This bloom is my heart for you.”

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

For the following week, it will seem like a year’s worth of events takes place. In a way that will be true. Right now, time is compressed as Earth, and the solar system, spin closer to the galactic center.

Truth, the truths hidden from humanity, will slam home faster than ever, and slam home with such force it will feel like getting smacked between the eyes. This continues for the rest of year, 2011.

Because of this, the global AWAKENING becomes a flashfire several times over, causing all of us to soar ever higher. Look for an increase of miracles in your personal life, as well as grand miracles worldwide.

THOSE on the dark side now crouch in fear, and fight to survive with acts of reprehensible violence aimed at dividing humanity against itself. Sadly, these forthcoming acts of soulless cruelty, are designed to be spotlighted on the world stage. They will also be relentless, and disguised as a series of racial and religious attacks.

This week’s theme will be ESCAPE. Given the rapid breakdown of the worldwide economy -- and the constant media fear-mongering -- the desire to escape will sweep through the hearts and minds of humanity.

Escape will be through any kind of entertainment venue -- TV, movies, music, books, electronic games, and social networking. Also, escape through the use of drugs, prescription and illegal, will see a dramatic increase.

This escape from reality, like everything in our world, is a double-edged sword. Escape as a dependence/addiction serves no one. While, escape for a time through reading, travel, or entertainments, is a vacation for the mind, and very healthy for the soul.

Trendwise, a modern version of the speakeasy will ‘seemingly’ pop up overnight, and remain, for the most part, in the underground. Much of the now rising, off-the-grid economy will revolve around this type of entertainment. Also noticeable, will be an angelic influence on products. This new influence sweeps on sweet swings over Mother Earth to bring forth a greater spiritual awareness.

Do whatever is necessary to stay cool enough this week, and help others whenever you can. Just make certain they mean you and your loved ones no harm.

Wednesday's Words for July 20, 2011

I recall a conversation I had with my beloved several years ago. We were discussing the fact that he was becoming deaf—the result of working at an open pit mine without benefit of hearing protection for too many years. This was back before his site was purchased by the large international firm that owns it today.

At the time he was adamant, of course, that he didn’t need hearing aids. “Those things don’t work, anyway. All they do is make everything louder so that all you hear is loud static.”

Still, I had said, he should look into getting them. He said he would, as soon as hell froze over.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. Hell has, apparently, frozen over.

This past Saturday my husband took delivery of his first set of hearing aids. He began the process to get them back in January, at the request of his employer. They suggested he go through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, a provincial government agency. This agency will provide equipment such as hearing aids if the damage suffered is work related.

So at the beginning of the year he went to get his hearing tested and was told, very frankly, that he was so hearing impaired as to be considered disabled.

This came as a surprise to no one but him.

One thing I can say about my beloved: he isn’t a man to believe something just because someone tells him so.

Or even if several someones do.

Needless to say there have been loads of improvements to hearing aid technology since the “olden days” when his uncle got one (I believe in was in the 1960s and that was what my DH was basing his opinion on).

He got the call to go in last Saturday, and when he came out of the building, he was wearing a couple of very small pieces of ultra-modern technology.

Aside from being light weight, they came with a “remote control” device. He immediately pointed the device at me and said, “I can turn you off, now.”

Congratulate me, I held my tongue.

He said they were comfortable, and that was good. We went home, and he went out to sit on the porch. Our front porch, that faces this very quiet street in our fairly small town, has always been a good place to sit. Dozens of trees line the street. Trees, of course, are the homes of birds.

On our street, the trees house hundreds of birds, at times.

“Good Lord, are they always so noisy?” DH asked. I just grinned.
He took the dog for a walk, and when he returned, he said, “I didn’t realize how much I didn’t hear until I got these.”

Again, I guarded my tongue. I like to think that, at my age, the need to say, “I told you so” has faded—that I’m mature enough to just let it go.

Yes, I’d like to think that, but I’m not sure I’m really strong enough to resist the temptation forever.

Love,
Morgan

Angelic Forecast ~ #150

“This isn’t desert,” I murmur.

“Camels were around before deserts.” His tones teases while his voice strokes me. So it feels.

To get my mental bearings, and calm my desire for him, I look around. The oasis like landscape is colored by the first rays of sundown. Enchanted, I take a deep breath, and it’s as if I’m drawing it all into my being.

“Where are we?” I ask a moment later. The Face on Mars is nowhere in sight.

“This is part of my estate.” With a touch, Amen-Dhuroth moves his camel beside me. He gives me a leonine grin and I go all woozy sexy inside. “We are close to Mars’ north pole. Is it not beautiful here?”

“Beautiful,” I repeat, as I cast my gaze around. After every sweep, our eyes glimmer into each other. That’s the sensation. Glimmering.

“Let me show you,” he huskily murmurs. With that he tears his gaze from mine, and our camels begin walking along the wide trail.

I soak in the splendid and unusual foliage. The blooms are mostly large, as if they open their petals wide for the remaining sunlight.

“So many shades of white,” I say wondrously.

“Notice as the we lose the day’s brightness, the flowers glow. That way we are able to ride at night.”

“Hey.” I twist toward him, the memory surfacing. “I heard Phobos isn’t a moon, but some sort of space -- “

“Yes,” he interrupts, his tone amused yet serious. “Phobos originally brought my people to Mars.”

Astounded, I blink and try to untie my tongue. My questions are piling up. All the while my camel moves with a rocking comfortable stride.

My lion man gives me a slow devastating smile, and I adore the glints in his eyes, smiling in return.

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

For the next week, and several weeks afterward, there will be an even greater rise in the demand for freedom. At this time, ‘voices in the wilderness’ will come to the fore. Those in the KNOW who have been ignored in the past, will begin to take center stage.

Because of this the media empires will be seen as the Deceivers in the future. Eventually, they will become laughingstocks to much of humanity.

At this point in history, it is crucial to get out of the major cities before Fall, or have a means of quick departure. Unless you and other good folks are able to take over the local government, those who are corrupt are likely to do the unspeakable.

There are so many evil forces at work, it will be difficult to deal with everything about to come down in many major cities. However, Divine Intervention, is more than possible, but can only occur if there are enough individuals who desire it, and call forth the Good.

As the behind-the-scenes civil war heats up, the clashes will hit the news, but be spun in a manner that conceals the truth. From this point forward, any headline news story will likely be used to gain control of the people, and keep everyone in a state of constant confusion.

The Bad Guys, THOSE who serve the dark side, are making their last moves. Think every horror and disaster movie you’ve ever seen, and the ones that are yet to be released. That is their intention for humanity.

This is happening in the face of the AWAKENING. Everyday, our world brightens with the tremendous force and speed of humanity’s rise toward our highest potential. On the horizon is a smackdown of biblical proportions. Good vs Evil.

For the following week there will be huge blowback against the evildoers who despise humanity. However, it will be difficult to see this play out because any coverage will be kept low key, and the blame shifted -- the script rewritten to suit their version of reality.

The dynamics of the coming week have not fully formed. There’s a push-pull of events, and only ‘possibilities’ in some key arenas. However, the takedown of the economy by the international bankster-gangsters will continue. While, in the background, there are folks who are creating their own viable local economies.

Currently, there are several operational new energy modalities that are only available to those in the know, and by word of mouth. Be on the look out, and take advantage if you are able. On the flip side, the hucksters are out in force. So buyer beware.

Trendwise, there will be a substantial shift in the direction of the planet, as a whole, this coming week. To know what will be your best moves, keep an eagle eye out, and look below the surface of events. That’s where you’ll find the best fishing for ideas. Also, fashion trends will take another leap toward the practical, whether urban, suburban, or rural.

Take an extra moment to hug those you love.

Woke up to a very nice surprise. Book 3 of Spirit Wolves is available for pre-order - one day after the release of Book 2. An author really could get used to this.

Wednesday's Words for July 13, 2011

It’s been a long time since I have personally lamented the unfairness of life. There doesn’t seem to be a point to it. Life is unfair; it’s unfair for everyone; I know this, so the best thing I can do is just get on with things.

But then there are moments when I am left at a such complete loss, when the vagaries of fate are more than unfair, they’re just wrong.

Nine years ago the next door neighbor who for years had been the bane of our existence put his house up for sale. Nothing could have pleased us more, as the man—a divorced father of two—seemed to be on a personal quest to complain about as many things as he could each day.

I totally understood why this man was divorced.

One young couple came, with her parents, to see the house, and decided it was theirs on first sight. They moved in not long afterwards, as soon as they came home from their honeymoon.

These new neighbors were a delightful change from the other guy. They were a simple couple—he worked at a wood products factory, and she at a community home for the severely handicapped. They entertained a fair bit, but not the way you’d expect young people to entertain. There were no raucous parties, no drunken feasts. They instead hosted plenty of family-friendly picnics and barbeques. There were always kids there, either with their parents or on their own just having a “sleep over” with their uncle and aunt and you knew that this young couple would make excellent parents.

They had their first child slightly more than a year after they moved in; another daughter came about two years later, and then finally a little boy two years after that.

In the summers, mom and dad both took delight in playing with their children, and getting the children to pitch in on outdoor chores. In winter, you’d see them go on family walks around the block, or find them building snowmen together.

Sundays they would emerge from their home, all dressed neatly, and go to church.

Just slightly over three years ago, the young mother found a lump in her breast. It was suddenly just there, a massive growth, and when she went to have it checked, it was to discover that she had stage three breast cancer.

We were never intimately friendly with these neighbors. We’d chat when we’d see each other. This past winter, the husband and my beloved took turns clearing the snow from our respective sidewalks and from around our cars. The young couple would ask, from time to time, how my career was going. We’d chat with the children and, one day when all their tricycles were on the sidewalk, stated in mock horror that an outlaw biker gang was living next door.

They’ve been good neighbors, and from all I’ve seen, good parents and very good people.

Over the past three years we’ve watched them fight this disease called cancer, always determined, both of them, to stave off the worst. Throughout the battle, that young woman never wavered. She had her faith, not only in God, but in her own self. You knew she would do whatever it took to win this battle.

It had begun to look as if she would succeed.

And then the tide changed.

I remember talking to her husband one day, when it seemed she was in remission. “She’s always done everything right,” he said. “She’s never smoked, she’s always eaten a healthy diet, and she’s exercised regularly. I just don’t get it. Why did she have to get sick?”

That is so human of us, isn’t it? To think that if bad things happen, we must have done something to deserve them. The truth is, bad things happen to good people for no reason, and that is that.

In the wee hours of this past Sunday morning, my brave young neighbor lost her battle with this disease. She passed away at home, her three young children and her husband by her side. She was only thirty-eight years old.

Her husband told me the news himself, but I’d awakened and seen the ambulance there, and I’d known.

He said he was grateful the children got to say goodbye to their mother. He also said that she’s in a better place now. I believe that, too.

No, life not only isn’t fair, it was never meant to be fair. This I’ve always understood.

But sometimes, the degree of unfairness I witness quite simply leaves me gasping for breath and begging for mercy.

Love,
Morgan

Angelic Forecast ~ #149

“Oh. I’m stunned by all this to say the least. Still, if humans were supposed to be servants, slaves... why an enhanced intellect?”

“For the same reason there are intelligent machines. Or, what is being called AI, artificial intelligence.”

The lightbulb moment occurs. “ Humans were designed to be switched off at will. Just like machines.”

“Yes,” he answers solemnly. “By the demon race and their cohorts.”

I shake my head, as if I’m able to rattle all the pieces of what I’ve learned together. Still, the whole picture eludes me.

“It will take time to understand, and there is no rush.” His gaze envelops me, tender, intense, while the depths of his eyes smolder, his desire for me obvious.

“Time doesn’t seem to be on my side,” I say. “Especially with the Quickening, with 2012 looming.”

“So it seems.” He smiles, the beneficent lion, and I swoon inside.

Firmly grasping my hand, Amen-Dhuroth turns and leads me toward a romantically styled arch. I gaze around me, spellbound. The beauty of the garden is like a song my soul wants to hear. No, longs to hear.

“Camels,” I say in surprise. Although, the Mars camels don’t entirely resemble the camels on Earth. They’re white, with sleeker frames and larger eyes.

Amen-Dhuroth seizes my waist, and without hesitation, swings me astride the slightly smaller camel.

“I’ve never ridden...” I begin to say, but his hand covers my thigh.

“You ride horses. Besides, Miris will make certain you remain aboard her.”

“Miris, is it?” I lean forward, and give her long neck a pat. At the same time, my lion man strokes his hand from my thigh. His deliberate caress shivers all my timbers, and I feel all sexily tempted inside.

In one bound, Amen-Dhuroth leaps astride his camel. His speed amazes me, and I stare. He meets my gaze, male satisfaction gleaming in his eyes.

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

For the following two weeks, look for the world as a whole to change drastically. That is, power structures that have been kept hidden in the shadows, will now emerge. These once-secretive groups will begin to demonstrate their raw-power takeover of society.

To the GOOD these ‘takeover’ plans will be disrupted in ways that are totally unexpected by THEM. This will occur because of Divine Intervention, and by the will of the people.

At this time in history, the WILL of the people becomes a new force. There is a coalescing of humanity’s heart, and this AWAKENING, this harmonious song of the human spirit spreads throughout the world, and touches everyone.

Humanity’s highest destiny awaits. What you do on an individual level, and how you participate in your life will either bring this destiny closer, or shove it away. That is your power.

That is your power everyday. And, it can be as simple as a smile, or hugging someone who needs it.

Using your power can also be as brave and complex as standing up for yourself and others, whenever it is right, and despite all the odds. This is the MIGHT that those on the dark side cannot withstand. Ultimately.

From this point forward, what will begin to shine forth is the fierce and uncompromising spirit of THOSE who cherish freedom. There will be no ‘one’ leader in humanity’s move toward freedom. For, everyone is a leader in the Aquarian Age.

There is another vital aspect to the upcoming week. Money is likely to take center stage at times. This focus will be a double-edged sword for many in the current economy. While money has served as a medium of exchange for this modern age, this is about to change in fundamental if slow ways. At the grassroots level, new ways of exchange and purchase will be created at a hyper rate.

Trendwise, CHANGE itself, is the ticket. Whatever product or service that will assist folks during this time of massive changes, is a sure winner. If you have the yen, or the need, take a look and use your genius to create these products and services.

Also, take extra care this week, and watch your step. Chaos is on the loose.

Writing Tip: Promo on the Cheap

I know I’ve harped on promotion before, but it can be overwhelming for an author, especially a new one, to effectively do it. There are so many avenues out there, free and that will cost you, that it’s mind-numbing to make a decision.

Rest assured, you can do a lot of effective promoting without spending more than a few dollars to register a domain name.

1. Get a website. Preferably, your pen name in .com, .net, and possibly .org if it’s in your budget. (I recommend Godaddy.com for domain registration.)

2. Get a Gmail address for your pen name. Use ONLY that email address, for fan mail and publication. (This will help keep your private email private.) (Free.)

3. Get a blog. If you aren’t able to make a website, then go to Blogger (http://blogger.com) and register one there. (Free.)

4. Go to Godaddy.com (or wherever you registered your domain at) and POINT them (forward them, depends on the terminology) at the blog address. It will take probably up to a couple of hours to take effect.

5. There are HUNDREDS, if not thousands, of free Blogger templates out there you can use to customize your blog. If that’s beyond you, you can use one of the pre-installed templates.

6. BLOG your ass off. Not just about your upcoming release, but about whatever. (Seriously, I recommend staying away from politics and religion.) Try to post at least once a week. When should you start promoting if this is your first release and it’s not even out yet? You should have already started getting your name out there.

7. Don’t just copy/paste your text from Word into your blog. Make SURE you go back and preview it to make sure there are paragraph breaks, no typos, etc. (PROOFREAD your blog!!)

8. Facebook. Set up a PAGE and promote THAT. (Once you get over 25 followers, you can change the name of it to an easy url.) Don’t promote your profile because as of now, you’re limited to 5,000 friends. The pages are better suited for author promotions. Use the NetworkedBlogs app to set it up so your blog posts automatically post to your Facebook account. (Free.)

9. Set up a Twitter account for your pen name. (Free.)

10. Use the TweetDeck application (Free) to post to your Twitter and Facebook page at the same time. (Wise use of time. There are other applications too, like HootSuite, and others.)

11. Go to Amazon.com once your book is available there and set up an author page. (Free.) Set your blog RSS feed and Twitter feed to post to it. (See where I’m going with this?)

12. Goodreads.com – Ditto. (Free.) Set it up to pick up your blog RSS feed.

Okay, so far, all this (except for the cost of registering your domain name) is FREE. Totally free. And you can set many of these things up to cross-post automatically. You blog, and it can post to Facebook, Amazon, and Goodreads. You can post a Tweet and Facebook update at the same time. You can also install apps on your blog to post your Tweets automatically, so you have that option as well.

Do you see where I’m going with this? If you set as much up to cross-pollinate, so to speak, it will allow you to promote not only for free, but in one fell swoop. This is all stuff I’ve talked about before, but it’s now easier than ever to accomplish it.

There are also smart phone apps for many of the applications, so if you’re on the go you can post updates.

I don’t want to hear you say, “I don’t have time to promote.” Once you get just these things set up, you can literally cover a wide swath of promotions in just a few minutes of time every week. Think of what you could accomplish if you spent an hour a week? Ten minutes a day for six days a week. How cool is that?

I’ve also talked about things like email lists (Yahoogroups), but you can also participate in Facebook pages and groups. There are reader sites like AllRomanceebooks.com, CoffeeTimeRomance.com, ManicReaders.com, RomanceDivas.com, RomanceJunkies.com, Longandshortreviews.com, NightOwlRomance.com, and many others. (And that’s just for romance, not counting non-romance sites out there.)

Yes, some of those sites have advertising packages, but many of them have discussion boards…FREE.

The important thing is to get out there, build a relationship with your readers, not just shoving your books in their faces, but getting to know them, letting them get to know you, interact with them.

Now get out there and promo your ass off! :)

Wednesday's Words for July 6, 2011

In the last week, both of our two nations celebrated their “national birthdays” within days of each other, as they always do. Canada Day was July 1st, and of course your Independence Day was July 4th.

I hope this year it was a good celebration for everyone!

Both nations have much of which they can be proud. Our countries are democracies, and best trading partners. Our border is peaceful, and our friendship endures. Our people live by the rule of law, and though that law is not perfect, it serves us all well.

Often, I’ve lamented that if we as Canadians have a flaw, it’s that as a people, we tend not to show our patriotism.

This year, perhaps because we were fortunate enough to have their royal highness the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge come to Canada, I was aware of our patriotism on display, more so than in years past. I saw much more flag waving this year than I’ve seen in quite a while.

My beloved and I spent Canada Day at the home of one of his co-workers. Situated in a small rural community—not even a village, really—our host’s home is on a corner piece of property, lush with trees, and soft lawn.

This community of not more than two dozen homes, I guess you could call it a ‘pocket’ village, as it occupies a pocket formed by a short road that meets a provincial highway on both ends.

And this community, on Canada Day, had a parade!

There were no marching bands, and no drum majorettes—although there was one fire truck. This parade consisted solely of Canadians, men, women and children filled with National pride, and unashamed to show it.

About twenty or so vehicles comprised the body of this parade, trucks decorated with lots of flags and streamers in red and white. One truck, a flat bed, had lawn chairs on it, and people sitting, waving their flags, tossing candy to the crowd, wishing everyone either “Happy Canada Day!” or “Happy Birthday!”

I was impressed by the smiling faces and the enthusiasm of the people—fully three quarters of the population of this community—who in their pickup trucks, or classic cars, drove slowly the one mile parade route, encircling the community.

Some of the partiers enjoying our hosts hospitality, tagged along at the end of the parade, bedecked as they were in their special “Canada Day” t-shirts and cowboy hats.
This humble yet proud parade made me realize that you don’t need anything fancy to display your national pride. You only need to stand up and be willing to show everyone how you feel.

There was a lot of fervor in Ottawa, our nation’s capital, on Canada Day—what some have called a “love fest” between those Canadians who gathered on Parliament Hill, and the visiting Royals. Every time Prince William mentioned the name of his wife, the cheers went up. And there was great cheering when he said he brought best wishes from his grandmother, “The Queen of Canada”.

I hope those of my friends who are Americans had a similarly moving and patriotic holiday. I hope you waved your flag, cheered your veterans, and ate some apple pie.

We do have much to be proud of here in North America, and much to be grateful for, too. And I, for one, am going to try to remember to be proud and grateful on a more regular basis.

Love,
Morgan

Shower

The steam engulfed her, and water jets pounded her. The shower spray beat her body into bliss, reinvigorating her. Weber stood for the abuse, standing spread eagle and enjoying the rough massage. It felt very good, and he looked very good doing it. She wanted to put her hands all over him, but she’d never done such a thing before. She tried to make it feel normal and ordinary that she showered with a naked man. A big, handsome, strong, protective, brave man. It was a naughty thrill for her just to stand in the same room with him and look at him, clothed. The man moved her.

“Weber, what do you know of angels?”

“It’s angels again… I thought you didn’t believe in them. Have a few dreams changed your mind?”

She hadn’t told him of the second dream. They hadn’t had time between the daredevil escape from the Alliance’s clutches, the visit to the doctor’s lab, and the awesome view outside their hotel window. He revealed himself in incremental hints to see if she caught on.

“Maybe they weren’t dreams,” she proposed, her eye on his default expression of stoicism. The water droplets raced down his hard body like shooting stars. “Maybe they were visitations. I thought I was asleep, but I wasn’t. Did I tell you the angel confessed to me he was a part of you?”

“No, you didn’t tell me that part. What color was your hair when he spoke to you?”

Her hand went to her hair beneath the pour of a showerhead massaging her scalp. She looked down to see her saturated black tresses covering her breasts and thin black drizzles of the hair color draining down her body with the water. “I didn’t notice. Why would that matter?”

He took the small distance separating them, and he put her into his arms, the sprays all around them. Naked and pressed against him shut her mind down to all but what he did to her.

“It seems to me if they were simple visitations, your hair would be black, as it is in this reality. If your hair were blond, as you truly are, how the Maker made you, then you may have been taken to a spiritual realm where corporeal bodies matter less and the barriers dividing souls is thinner. A place where only truth exists. Your black hair is a lie and couldn’t appear there.”

She smiled in surprise of his answer, had expected a denial. “You hold revelation of the spiritual world, Marshal. Does that mean you have the soul of an angel?”

Parting the pour of water from his face, his hair drenched and slicked-back, he smiled in reply, as if he’d bested her. “No, it means I can use the terminology to make you think I do know much on the subject.”

She frowned at him and wished she could tell when he lied.

After all the stress of the hard day had been beaten from them, Weber adjusted the pressure of the jets as she soaped up a bath scrubber in her hands. When she attempted to bathe herself, he snatched the scrubber away.

“You can’t have that,” he told her, like an order given her by his badge. “You can’t bathe yourself. You must wait for me.”

With the heavenly subject of conversation past them, her shyness rushed back to disable her. She pulled all her dark hair around her to hide behind. She saw the moment he picked up on it, and she shouldn’t have thought he wouldn’t notice. It was his job to read clues. And she was too inexperienced to fake having been in this position before.

He took her hand and guided her to the wall away from the main assault of the water, and he gently put her back to the tiles. Taking the soap into his hands, he stood very close to her, and he teased her into a kiss. His naked closeness stirred her, his alpha-male nearness subliminally dominated, and she was surprised how every step he took toward her sizzled her into a surrender that shot tension and thrill through her.

His sensuous mouth. She recalled noticing the bow of the angel Dokiel’s lips before he kissed her. They were very similar to Weber’s own.

When she was mesmerized by his lips, he put the soap in her hand, then took it to his chest. Then he trapped her small hand under his, and they slowly soaped his big arms and shoulders, his sinewy chest and river-rapids abs. She watched his hand, the only other part of Dokiel she’d seen, scribbled with tattoos of angelic script. Weber’s hands were very similar. The angel’s and the cop’s hands were big-palmed, long-fingered, hot to the touch. The contact drew the air from the room for her, and she felt a mixture of want, excitement, and uncontrolled arousal she’d never felt before. But she’d never touched a man like this.

He gave her his sinewy back while he shampooed his hair, and she sudsed him down, driving away the shyness. Her hands all over his body, his broad, hard back, his narrow waist, his round ass. He was an extra-fine specimen of man. Her thighs were on fire just from touching him.

There was no way her chastity would last the night. She wanted to pack it in a shiny wrapped box with a big bow and hand it to him. It would soon be his.

Her soapy hands reached his hips, and he guided her hand around to his manhood. She took a big, anxious breath for the experience. Together they sudsed his thick, stiff shaft, gently bathing him. He was so hard and bigger than she expected. She knew for sure he would hurt her. Touching him just made her hungrier.

He groaned. “If you keep doing that, we’ll never leave this shower.”

Angelic Forecast ~ #148

“What do you see?” he asks.

“It’s as if every force on Earth is colliding with every other force. Evil stains everything.” As I speak, tears stain my cheeks. “When will this nightmare end?”

“Nightmare,” he repeats, his voice a rumble barely above a whisper. “There are several intergalactic races reaching out to humanity now. However, contact is being stopped whenever possible by the cabal that hold the mistaken belief they own Earth, and her people.”

“Cabal, yes. And, the war in heaven intensifies, doesn’t it?”

His gaze searches mine, and I see his concern. “The dark force gathers for a final assault. Earth is their prize, as you know intuitively.”

“Humanity’s genetics are priceless,” I say, deep in thought. “Some race originally created us, our bodies to be, in part, holding vessels for a cornucopia of genetic possibilities. They’re returning to collect those genes.”

“They return, and have sent their scouts. However, the Xenephys do not regard human beings as their property. What some call demons, a race spawned from the unholy merging of an etheric race and the beasts of Earth, believe it is their right and destiny to rule Earth, to own humanity.”

I frown. “Why?”

“This particular lineage of demons were present on Earth before the arrival of the current human race. They assisted an intergalactic race in the genetic development of humans as they are now. This was done with the belief that humans were to become their servants.”

The jigsaw jumble of my thoughts coalesce seeking the true, and obviously ultra complex, history of human kind. “And that never occurred, did it?”

“No, my Sh’raka, there was an intervention by another race who recognized the divine potential of humanity. Their genetics had been used to create an advanced intellectual capacity in the first human beings. However, this was done without their permission.”

“Advanced intellectual capacity... how is that created?”

“There are particular receptors in the brain and heart and solar plexus designed to connect with what we call universal wisdom.”

TO BE CONTINUED...

ANGELIC FORECAST ~

For the following week, the human soul’s need for freedom will outshine every darkness currently oppressing the world. Essentially, fireworks will be lit inside each one of us by the force of Good. Out of this, there is the opportunity to arise anew, and soar like an eagle.

The forthcoming week will also reveal those dreams of your soul that have either been denied or are buried so deep within you they remain unknown. At this time, the cosmic energies are waking up the individual, and the whole of humanity, to their true purpose and their deepest desires for their lives.

Around this cosmic ‘Awakening’ there will be joy, a celebratory dance of joy. Tempering this dance, will be the pain of chaos and confusion, and constant war. For, massive CHANGE is here and will occur at lightning speed for the next several years.

Within a year’s time, the landscape and social-scape of the world, and of our beloved country, will bear little resemblance to what has been for the past fifty years. Of crucial importance now, is the ability to step away from the establishment, and become self-sufficient, both individually and as a community.

Those of you with the vitality and the need, get out of the cities and settle on any good land you can find. Reclaim farmland and ranch land. Become a wild, free human being. Learn to govern yourself while working with others of like mind. For, that is the key to the Aquarian Age.

In the long scheme of events, governments worldwide will falter, fail and eventually fall. In the meantime, they will act like insane monsters, flailing and slashing... striking out at anyone they deem as an enemy, and anyone who dares to get in their way.

This week the ‘face of evil’ will be exposed as never before. And, from this point forward be revealed over and over again. Simultaneously, the ‘face of the Divine’ illumines the Earth, reflected by the extra brightness of the sky above us.

On the near horizon, there will be a concerted effort to suppress music by subtle and not so subtle means. The reason for this is because music is the true universal language, and the way for humanity to join hearts and minds. The soulless ones who want full dominance over the world, will attempt to stop the grassroots rise of music. For, they wish to keep humanity divided at all costs.

Trendwise, a new era of enlightenment begins. This is a double-edged sword for all of us. Many who appear to be the gurus of this enlightenment will be the Deceivers. Follow no one. Go with whatever truly resonates with your soul and heart. For, the truth lives and shines within you.
